Apart from our Goal and CCV hitting the crossbar at 1-0….We NEVER made the Hun Goalie get his gloves dirty.
I know Tom Rogic was getting wrestled off the ball almost every time he had possession…but Ref/Hun Madden allowed THEMS to get away with consistent fouling.
Over the piece we were very poor, and didnt deserve to win today, so I cant complain too much, but our players have set such high standards this season, it was surprising and disappointing to see so many Celtic players playing so poorly.
The Hun players looked more up for a Battle/War than we did.
We shall rise again.

All we asked before hand the game was to turn up we failed to do that , I may be wrong but once again we were bullied by them with the approval of madden . We didn’t have a clue there and if we didn’t know we do now we miss broonie

Read up on the history of the pharmaceutical influence on football.
And it goes a long way beyond the influence of Bayer on BL.
Will their be drugs tests after this game or any other SFA / SPL game?
We thought we had it all in the bag after the last two weeks.
Unfortunately we are not that good.
They are cute / we are raw.

Apart from our goal, did we have any shots on goal?? Don’t remember their keeper having to make a save.

All about the league. Finish the job. We were going to lose to them at some point and at Hampden.
We weren’t very good, Hart and CCV apart. Welsh playing out of position gave one of the poorest cameos I can remember, but he wasn’t alone. Rogic, Abada, Jota, even CalMac, all poor. O’Riley and Forrest anonymous and Kyogo offered nil. He clearly wasn’t fig and had no pace.
Still, this team has done us proud this season. If they win the league it’s a minor miracle. They’re allowed an off day and the huns are a strong team. It was still relatively even. CCV should really have cliched it for us. Still, the big guy was outstanding.
Final word for Brother Madden. A cheating orange bar steward. That is all.

So after all the nonsense non-football hullabaloo, we did indeed ‘go to war with a flag’ -it was a ‘phoney war’ & we flagged for 120 minutes.

thems easily bullied us today , no fight or desire to win from us today ,got what we deserved from the game.

they should have been down to 9 men, cheating refereeing made sure they finished with 11, how does that not influence a game?

Very lacklustre performance by quite a few players today , we didn’t really battle and never got our own game going . CCV scores at his chance it’s over , that’s where the big games are won / lost .
BIG Julian needs at least 4 or 5 games. Never goin to make an impact. IMO.

I had the feeling there was far too much happy clapping and chicken counting on here for the past 2 weeks. Ange has done a great job, but putting him on a pedestal was far too premature.
As for Forrest, in his whole career, I can’t remember him ever having an outstanding game against any iteration of the Govan mob. I can only remember one goal by him in that whole time. A total waste of a jersey against thems, every time.
The pressure is on us now. Lose to the Old Firm at Paradise and we are in big trouble.
SuperSutton on
There you have it. If CCV puts it in the net. Game done.
Our creative players were stifled. Mostly by getting fouled without repercussion. McGregor booked during a passage of play that should never have happened, Juranovic was fouled but ref didn’t give it.
We were poor, old firm were better than us, but Madden was their MotM.

It was not our day.
However, this team and the manager have been magnificent.
Only 3 of our starting 11 were with the team last season. A complete rebuild.
In the coming weeks we have the opportunity to seal one of the sweetest league championship titles in year.
We can bury this mob and today will be all forgotten.

Hopefully the manager will learn quickly from this – they’ll turn up at Celtic Park in a couple of weeks with the same script and Beaton in charge.
He won’t do it, but I’d be inclined to let the experienced heads get us over the line – Bitton sitting with Cal and TR ahead of him. Play Ralston at right back with Forrest ahead of him.

Just make sure we get 4 or 6 points from the next two games Celts and the league is in the bag.

It was interesting that the huns only really started getting any joy from us when they abadoned their passing from the back game (which was as poor as ours) and went long. We were posted missing in both full back positions.

It’s something that was clear with the victory at Mordor – many of our players are easily dispossessed. The same was clear today.
Stay safe tonight peoples
We accept this and move on. We’re still a work in progress.
Need more physicality. Many having been saying similar since early season.
The league was always the ultimate prize this season.
No slips ups

No use complaining when we lose if we don’t complain when we win…….

And that was early in the second half.
