  1. Forrest has an arse on him like a 5 furlong sprinter, his time has gone sorry, Bitton I would agree in a battle like today, we ended up lobbing high balls to a 5′ 6″ striker and smallish wingers, one thing for sure we need to win at Dingwall and settle folk down, its nervy dropped points will make it more so

  2. they have 2 full back who deliver fantastic crosses into the box. we have 2 full backs who rarely ventured up the pitch. Our left back position is pathetic – no wonder jota has no support when he’s on the ball .

At one point Taylor tried to take a quick shy – to start an attack , when Hatate made the run and retuned a nice ball for Taylor to cross , he elected to pass all the way back to CCV . infuriating and he will definitely not be first choice next season.

    we need some athletic physicality

hopefully we have enough in the tank for the run in

positives – Kyogo minutes , giaka back , forrest minutes – they had another leggy 120 mins and still might lose europa and Scottish Cup

Don’t blame Celtic, we were never going to be allowed to win today.

An absolute disgrace of a referee.

    ————————————————

I’m concerned that we will get exactly the same scenario next week, only with a different referee.

  4. Jack’s was a red card stamp on Hatate and Lundstrum should have a second yellow for pulling down McGregor on the half way line as he was breaking, both ignored by the hun Madden. No chance he was red carding one of their’s today, we would had 9 men

they have 2 full back who deliver fantastic crosses into the box.

    ————————————————————————

That’s how they scored the winner – low cross, hit hard, players attacking it. And that’s how they scored against Braga. Very hard to defend.

  6. DESSYBHOY on 17TH APRIL 2022 5:30 PM

Hard to believe, but Lundstrom didn’t even get a first yellow card. He was allowed to do whatever he wanted today by Madden,

  7. As much as I hate getting beat by them ,it’s fair to say they have been a chasing pack trying to stop us from having another treble, and to there credit they done it,We now have to focus and win the league back from them,Ange in my opinion needs to move on a few players in the summer, also if he can sign some tall good players and athletic ,because I’m sure that’s what’s lacking in the team,

disappointing. outplayed on the day. We can win the league. Its been a magnificent year for Celtic, Ange and a brand new Celtic lineup. First time we have really slipped up this year. 6 points , effectively 7 ahead. We can do this. Celtic now, Celtic forever.

the final straight, these Bhoys are up for it.

‘ walk on, with hope in your heart .’

    keep the faith

    In Ange we trust

  9. 67Heaven .. CHALLENGING THE LIE ..I am wee Oscar...... Ipox belongs to the creditors on

Smell the coffee ……. ANY successful business will protect it’s revenue stream ….. job done, we’ll be back to normal next week and go on to win the league 😡😡😡🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

  10. I thought all our pre-game euphoria would have dissipated, but no, some on here are taking the league for granted. We are going to have to play a hell of a lot better next week. We looked like the team that played extra time on Thursday. Why is that? Why were we playing the ball in the air all the time, since we are replete with diminutive players, and since it suited the Old Firm?

Most important of all – why did we not change it at half time? Why did we continue with something that wasn’t working?

  11. This season is all about the league.

Just get that won and get ready for next season.

  12. Bhoyjoebelfast on

‘They’ finished the game with 11 players, when red card should have been issued on at least two occasions,he who passes as a ref. knew what he was at,we all know.If big CCV had taken his chance I do believe ‘They’ would have folded, but this was not the case.We did not perform to our best today,so we move on and capture the league title,a title ‘They’ so badly wanted.Today ‘They’ reached the final, they didn’t win it.

    STILL CELTIC

  13. On the big Hampden pitch, after the Orcs had Thursday night with extra time, a game plan had to be cobbled together

The fourth official and more importantly the referee had been specifically chosen by the brotherhood, operation stop the treble was all systems go

An open game was to Celtic’s advantage, the demolition of St Johnstone confirmed Sevco could not go toe to toe with Celtic in an equal unbiased game

Celtic had to be stopped building the play, no rhythm allowed, if Mcgregor, Hatate, and Rogic had to leave injured all the better

That was blatant cheating today, a disgusting unethical performance by whatever that thing was in the referees uniform, selected by one of the worst corrupt football organisations in Europe, the referee completely affected the game, the brutal physicality allowed unpunished was embarrassing all to favour a game plan for one team

Rest recover prepare for Ross County for Ange and the players

Our board led by the CEO should be on the sixth floor of Hampden every day next week demanding answers

  14. what was our intense training the past week was it running a marathon each day , we certainly looked like we had lead in our boots.

  15. Our board led by the CEO should be on the sixth floor of Hampden every day next week demanding answers

    will never happen

  16. We were very very poor today

    Midfield non existent

    So front line got nothing

    I thought

Taylor, Ralston & Welsh also very poor

CCV score and it was game over

The injury ( pushed off the pitch by the player that had about 6 booking fouls, ll missed by Mad Hun) to Juranovic, cost our defence it’s composure

So Lundstram – not booked, Aribo booked and breenges into Juranovic, ignored

Mad Hunhad a huge influence on the game

  17. Nye Bevans' rebel soldier on

The better side won,the league is the real prize, lick your wounds and man up.

  18. celticforever on

Surprised no one mentioned but I though

The Huns second was offside looking along the line

The guy making the cross was ahead of our defenders

Apart from madhun failing to book several Huns we were second to too many balls today

Thought decision to have kyogo was correct as he

Is obviously short of match fitness

Anyway league was always priority and it’s in our

    Hands

    Any lurking Huns GIRFUY

  19. Too sick to make any meanigful comment. It would seem that a bad performance and a biased ref led to a seemingly deserved defeat. I will only feel OK again IF and when we beat Ross County.

    Cheerio for now.

  20. I disagree that Madhun made no difference today.

I do agree that we were not good enough and were well beat.

However, the ref saw us take the lead against the run of play and made sure that couldn’t happen again.

  21. Lukaku hits post in last minute.

Tuchel’s HT changes win game for Chekski.

Chelski vs Liverpool in FA Cup Final.

  22. THE_HUDDLE on 17TH APRIL 2022 6:22 PM

Was the hun handball in the 2nd half in the box/on the line? So a pen to us.

In the box and the winning goal had a very close offside call that they didnt dwell on during the match. Looked off to me.

Both you could understand them not being given, both get picked up by var

  23. Two poor teams contested that match. It was a poor quality game consisting of mainly fouls and throws. Madden was a cheat and annoying but it was our lack of quality that lost the match. I’m thinking about restarting my boycott of these fixtures if that is the quality you get. Hearts would have beaten both these teams on todays form

  24. Van Bronckhorst has realised that a strongly physical game is allowed by Scottish referees. Celtic’s midfield and fullbacks were out muscled all afternoon with Madden turning a blind eye to Lundstrum and Jack persistently fouling. Ange must realise that in certain games we need a bit more physicality. Why on earth did we look more tired than them in extra time. Win the next two games and the League is won. Keep our eyes on the main prize.

  25. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

    Tough loss.

    Disappointment palpable.

    Am over it already.

    Two lessons from today.

    1. You can’t win ’em all

    2. Old Firm FC can’t beat us (even on our worst day) without the help of the most disproportionately unrepresentative refereeing community in world football.

  26. SFTB

Ive boycotted this game since they died. Dont believe in anything with their ‘r.ng*rs ‘name.

Any tickets I get I give away.

I still believe we will clinch the league.

I just want our board to jave balls.

  27. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

Ange has done a fantastic job lifting us out of the depths we found ourselves in.

But that job is not even one-third done.

Back to work for the squad on Tuesday.

  28. We were the walking wounded by the end of that game, so could be a few missing in defence against Ross.

  29. Calmed down now. Decided, you can’t win every game. We won the the game that mattered. And now we need to win the next games that matter …

  30. we missed a broony type today! engine room operating with one mcgregor piston aint enough to win against a physical side.

despite their lack of dominance we could have won it – fine lines.

At start of the season I had ZERO expectations other than positive indicators. If we land a double that would be remarkable.

BUT its difficult to get over the line – Ross County are no mugs and are also a physical team. This is a new team, young players, not too much experience around them – will need the fans positivity to get right behind them!
