After all is said and done we are a point closer to winning the league and the Invincible’s unbeaten run continues.
What is the answer to cheating referees?
For cheating is surely what Madhun did today.
The penalty was not his only deliberate error.
Shirt tugging, pushing, late tackles, over the ball tackles from the huns all went unpunished.
He was never going to award a penalty at that stage of the game, even if Leigh had been on the goal line and Hill had saved by handling the ball and bounced it basket ball style out of the box.
Celtic needs to start refusing to accept referees with a history.
A dossier must be sent to the SFA with examples of cheating.
Those referees must be deemed unacceptable at Celtic Park.
Consequences? Another strike?
Bring it on.
Should a referee in the black list be pointed then we must refuse to play the game, or if that’s not acceptable play development squad members.
We must protect our players and show our own fans that we cannot and will not be exploited in this manner.
Fines? We can afford them?
Points deduction? We can afford that.

A wee bit off topic.
Scottish professional football is corrupt. They know it, we know it and they know we know it. You can send all the emails you want but it won’t change a thing. A complete root and branch clear out is required otherwise it will be the same old same old. Hh

Video refs won’t make any difference.
Look at the lack of scrutiny by commentators on Holt and Millers potential leg breaking tackles.
Their justification of no penalty being given despite it being a stonewaller.
Today when Waghorn kicked KT commentator said no malice when the opposite was truest he made no attempt at ball.
When Brown was booked they said it was justified and described something that did not happen.
I usually only watch Celtic tv but today it was on sky and the commentators gave opinion as fact to justify madhuns cheating despite the visual evidence not supporting this.
Only way it will change is if refs are made accountable and in the best wee bigoted country in the world that seems impossible.

We were rubbish today and lucky to even get a point from that game.
The pitch was brutal, the zombies were brutal and the MIB was the worst of the lot.
Got the game for £6.99 from Now TV and switched it off soon as the full time whistle went – couldn’t be barred listening to those three mugs, even if we had won the game.
No nerves, no nothing – only apathy during the match.
Indifferent.
Those monkeys are irrelevant, even their predictably, rancid singing just bores me to tears now.
Craig Gordon played well, KT and Broony played alright, as did LG when he appeared.
The sooner Jozo returns to the team the better.

Video refs are usually a panel of three refs or former refs.
NOT commentators.
It has worked successfully in rugby league , rugby union and cricket for many years.
Why wont it work in football ?
It wont be perfect , but it will be an improvement.

That’s the very point I was making. Video reffing is the obvious answer (and I think it WILL inevitably happen here) but the vested interests will fight it to the last.
That was a very poor performance*- a poor start at home again against poor opposition.
(*but KT is brilliant. CG and SB played well, as did Armstrong).
Sinclair, Dembele, Forrest, Eric all poor. Boyata less than poor- He consistently slows the game down and thinks he is Beckenbauer when in fact he’s Tebily.
Actually thought MIB wasn’t doing too bad (relative comparison for Glasgow derby MIBs-bar the fact that Miller and Holt ought to have been carded)- but the Hill/Griff decision was scandalous. Imagine that in any other league…. nope, you can’t.
What has frustrated me the most over the last few weeks has been our pitch. What has happened!? Winter was very timid this year. Our pitch used to be a carpet. The envy of all of Scotland. Ours is now a cabbage field and does nothing for our flair players.
I can only presume that the club has not relaid it cos the league is over?! Though as a non gardener I don’t know if it would be better for next season and the champions league qualifiers to lay it now or later??

On the subject of MIB’s. Has anyone else noticed that when we get a free kick around the box and the opposition line up their wall the MIB steps in out as 8 paces, not 10. Brother Madden did today a few times, Brother Thompson did it in the 5-1 game, they don’t even hide it. Maybe it’s just me? The TV never shows it but it’s blatant if your at the game
