I agree in part, however I believe we were playing under different rules to the rule book applied to that lot.
If we had lunged and pulled like them we would have had men sent off. Can I also say I do not believe in conspiracy theories. I trust my own eyes and in the refereeing performances of Beaton and Madden we have seen favouritism shown in the application of the laws of the game ,
That is not a conspiracy, it looks more like an agreed course of action. Our club must highlight this and keep it in the public domain. The MSM will accuse us of sour grapes and try to downplay the impact of a few ” mistakes” ; they will want it all forgotten about before the SF.

Not intending to enter any discussion ,prefer to lurk nowadays,but the mention of Bankier gets my gander up.
If I remember correctly he was a major figure in a company,cannot remember which one ,who sponsored the “old Rangers” for quite a substantial amount,but failed to fund our club ,I may be wrong but I think he / they said they would look at balancing this out.I don’t think when he was there they ever did.
I don’t know Bankier never had any doings with him ,but I would never walk out of a meeting with him telling me to go and behave myself,can you share holders remember this insult.
Always remember some of the most educated people are also the most ignorant.

The sfa are huns to a man, the referees are hand picked, Madden did what was expected of him today, it’s as simple as that, hence he had a good day at the office.

VFR – I just do the fixtures and picks. CRC does the real donkey work – th money and the weekly update. This week there’s a Monday night game so I expect the table will be out after that. I was something like 105th 3 weeks ago (I think) but might still be the dark horse for the title after 3 successful weeks……..

WGS will not bite the hand that feeds him, its amazing how when Celtic do not get penalties that the ref has to be absolutely sure it is a penalty, no such criteria when you see whats dished out here on a regular basis and only last week when they got a penalty that was not, how come that ref was sure?

It may just the frustration that I am feeling , as many of you will be, but I decided to email PL telling him that it is about time the Board raised the issue of referees with the SFA and the SPL. I also emailed John Paul stating that many of us feel let down by the Board at times like one we had to endure today. No doubt, the usual posters will come on telling me I am wasting my time. Well, at least I did more than just moan on here about Madman’s disgraceful performance today.

Pre-match I’m usually concerned about the MIB. Today I expected Madden to thwart us and so it turned out.
Celtic were slow out the trap, failed to adjust to their pressing and vigour.
Second half I thought the substitution of Armstrong changed things. They adjusted to that better than the Champions.
Today was always going to be a challenge. Matches against rivals always are, Perhaps, too many took the result for granted ? Perhaps, Celtic and our supporters weren’t fully up for the challenge. Petulant complains and unhappiness was evident, really early, from our support.

B, I am firmly of the belief ‘win the individual battle’ ala Bertie and Davie Hay, we have been lacking in that department of late so I am hoping that the new Bhoy brings that steel and belief which in turn encourages all around in the art of getting ‘stuck in’ because we have the better footballers for sure. Days like today this season are few and far between, it’s understandable that there is friction on the blogs, it actually feels like we were defeated today, thankfully we weren’t.
Miss understandings are the norm, I was looking at KDS earlier and they were giving it laldy, some of the insults were out of order imo, I got barred for much less a couple of months ago, got pished one night and called a couple of them tossers, got exed for my troubles and I was 100% right with my assertions I will have you know :-)

Didn’t see the game today as I was travelling. but I switched it on around the 15 minute mark before I left, to check the score. Scott Brown won the ball in our half and broke forward in a counter attack . He passed to Sinclair out on the left and as he was running towards their box in support, he was bodychecked off the ball by Waghorn. Madden and his linesman completely ignored it. That’s when I switched the telly off. I’ve seen this movie before, I thought.

When was the last time any Scottish team made a formal complaint about the standard of refereeing?
What many of us want is for Celtic FC to say that today`s referee is a biased , perhaps bigoted , cheat.
From the evidence of our own eyes , you may be certain of it.
I may be certain of it.
But that is never going to happen.
Unless it can be proved.
I look forward to hearing what Chris Sutton has to say.
