Funny, I was thinking about the parallels with another 4-4 draw, although many years ago. We would win our next 8 games and the rest, as they say, is history.
History does have a tendency to repeat though :-)

Last week Christmas came early, this week New Year has come early! I blame global warming myself ;-)
Great result, solid performance we now have the momentum. I thought Willie Gollum was his usual abysmal self, Healy should have had a straight red for his assault on Jamsie Bhoy.
The beauty of 1-0 is being able to listen to the huns complaining about the “goal” that never was. Suspected it was going to be our night after that.
Hoopy New Year to one and all.

listen to young and listen to the hun its great listening to them screaming at each other and us knowing they dony have a feckin c lu scum the lot of them
BTW – thought McCoists interview on Sky was interesting. He was playing it pretty cool. He was also watching a different game. ‘Not much in it’ quoth he. Hmmm. They looked totally bereft of ides once we’d scored. He was yelling at players to put it in the box from free kicks and they did the opposite. Hmmm. Has he lost the dressing room?
I think he knows he won’t be in a position to strengthen and may well find one or two gone by the 31st Jan. If I were a betting man I might have a few £££ on him walking away before too long, citing lack of support from on high. He must know they are a busted flush.
Anyway, we can enjoy a good gloat today and tomorrow and then it’s the important business of winning at the weekend that will be foremost in our thoughts. Tricky wee assignment on Monday – and I won’t get to see it as I’ll be on the road! Darn it. Gers have the Motherorcs at home I think. Is it too much to think that they might just implode yet again? tricky enough game for both teams but I would rather be going to Dunfermline than facing motherwell at home after two defeats.
What a sweet win! And considering the ages of our guys….Matthews-19, Forrest -20, Ki – 22, Rogne -21, Wanyama -20, Hooper -23 etc, this team can continue to grow together and hopefully win titles for years.
Brilliant.

In the end well beat but what would worry me, not obviously yourselfs, that time is up for this current Rangers team. The constant downsizing is taking its toll, we are such an ordinary team. There is not one creative player in our team and there is no quick fix.
By the way thought your right back Matthews was outstanding.

Healy and his Shankhill fluter pal should have walked.
timbhoy2 – watch the tackle again. elbows followed through, straight leg, studs up and then feigned injury to get away with it.

Ally was very non-committal at the end on players being brought in. Suggested he wanted to do this, and not sell Jelavic, but made it clear both options were out of his hands.
I think he can seem the train a-coming straight towards him…

I don’t think the defence needs major work, just needs players fit and a settled back 4. Another clean
sheet tonight, and Rogne was excellent 2nd half.
