  1. NINE IN A ROW

    Sounds catchy, sounds good………

A game difficult to judge but some great performances:

I thought Rogne (or Rouge-ney © Charlie Nick on Sky )had one of his best games clearing his lines, anticipating well….

Hooper was strangely anonymous and he’s one I like.

Forrest was good, industrious, giving thems problems.

Midfield were great, with Kayal being brilliant and a man not to shirk a tackle.

That Healy guy should’ve gone with a red.

The Lafferty one is just poison.

And I do hope that ball was over the line LOL.

Matthews showed great pace to recover some tricky situations.

    This is a TEAM !

Let the advanced drinking now commence.

    Let the people drink.

Glasgow, if I could see properly, is most definitely green and white.

    I toast them Hoops.

The radio’s just saying (Kyle Bartley) that the pressure is now on Celtic.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

He should get familiar with the expression GIRFUY

Is he another one of these hun “converts”

    Not that I care.

Davis went missing and huffy Jelavic will go for tuppence.

I welcome back Izzy, best left back since the majestic and totally wonderful Tommy Gemmell.

    Win this bloody league, Celtic.

  2. Elbows assault on Kayal was a bad one. I think that’s why he was subbed 10 minutes later.

Healy’s on JF was a straight red – I can only think Brother Collum was showing a little Christian charity in not sending him off.

Did you not post that after the Midden game?

Downsizing? Highest net spenders last couple of years – must be hard with such downsizing, eh?

  4. Partizan-petec

It’s a job for me, I probably spend half the day on the computer, who is playing, who is not etc.

Teams go on wee runs, just have to get on them at the right time.

Luck does come in to it, but not as much as you think, if I bet a pound and end up with a pound and ten, I am happy.

There was a site called Jinkie’s Oars on the web a few years ago, he only ever bet singles, he made money, my mate had a bookies in Dublin, he helped as long as I didn’t bet in his shop.

And as I type, thanks Terry Jenkins.

Respect for praising one of Celtic’s players. Adam played very well against the obvious Rangers tactic.

  6. Oglach

I don’t agree with Lenny there. It was a shocker from elbows

Other than that and no red for Healy, I thought gollum had a good game as ref. Well, goodish ;)

  7. ItaliaBhoy

    McCoist was interviewd on Clyde.

In essence he was asked if QPR had submitted a written offer for Jalevic and could he tell the questioner anything about it.

I paraphrase, but he more or less said – I can’t. Somebody mentioned it to me just before kick off, which was all I needed to be honest.

Sally is feeling the pressure AND knows the financial position.

I think they call it leakage.

    You forgot the multiple choices:

    A – Almost half

    B – Almost half

    C – Almost half

D – All of the above

  9. Truth4767

normally I would not reponse to your comments, but young Matthews is an exceptional player.

  10. Swansea Bhoy;

    Always believed in Joe bach; quietly efficient everytime but he f*€king loved that goal;

    Celtic dragon!

    Hail Hail!

  11. Petec – come to think of it – they had £8 Million quid of a forward line (not I didn’t say £8 Million ‘worth’ up front!) on the field. Apart from Broony, you would probably have bought our whole team for the price of Jelavic and Laughatme

Big of you to come on here tonight,

    and not be spouting malice.

    Having said that,

    GIRFUY.

  13. I know I will have a howling hangover tomorrow, but it will still come with a big smile.

The best bit is that we still have the likes of Izzy, Kelvin Wilson, and Commons to return. And that is always assuming we don’t splash any cash out in the forthcoming window.

For Brer Hun there is the increasing likelihood of having to sell Jellylegs in order to stave off the Taxman. And with the yellow cards starting to pile up, they may be forced to field a central back pairing of Weir and Bocanegra. A pairing with all the subtlety, pace, weight and sophistication of Bernard Manning…..and with a higher comic value.

    :-)

    HH

  14. Well that was tense!

When I saw the team my only concern was Rogne. What do I know. I made him Man of the match – he won everything and read the game in horrible conditions for a centre half. Well Done Neil and the team – that’s me telt!

  15. SwanseBhoy,

Interesting. I do believe that Jelavic, whilst not a bad player, is incredibly over-rated. The Huns paid 4.4 million for him. In a18 months since he has scored reasonably well in Scotland (including a lot of penalties).

What has he done to double in value?

  16. I’m merry as amything and i FORGIVE THE DARK SIDE ALLL THEIR ATROCIOLUSNESS. The capitals aren’t for emphasis I just don’t know how to change them. Kayal was a giant tonight, should have been MOM. Is he ok?

    —————————————————————————————————————————————–

Very bad tackle from elbows, ref was poor in that instance, Healy agree, at 1st i thought it was a worth a straight red however having seen it no more than a yellow. NL – more ill advised comments – Footballers = Warriors.

NL – We love you dude but please stop spouting such drivel on TV

  18. SwanseaBhoy – I think we will be seeing a few stories emerging from two different camps at Ibrox in the coming weeks. Sally is media savvy. He’ll drop a few excuses in (quite possibly the truth, not just excuses!) about players being sold over his head and whytes men doing an ironic ‘Comical Ally’ to keep the bears from the marble stair case.

  19. Hard to pick a MoM tonight.

If you put a gun to my head I would have to say young Thomas, but Adam ran him a close second, feck it the whole team were superb.

Doff the cap to the support tonight, magnificent.

  20. That was great. Knew we would do it on the way to the ground at 7:15………no traffic from Royston rd all the way down to The Forge………..just one of those nights when everything went our way.

Thought Rogne, Matthews, Samaras and Kayal were awesome.

  21. TET

Wasnt disagree with anything you say about betting.

Was just saying I enjoy sticking silly bets on. Not too bothered if they dont come in.

But you have my utmost respect in what you do.

And right now I’m just laughing at the hun.

Downsizing? Highest net spenders last couple of years – must be hard with such downsizing, eh?

    ————————————————————————————————————–

We have lost important players every transfer window and somehow managed to win three League titles in a row, so , yes, Rangers are downsizing.

We will lose maybe another two in the next one and because of financial strictures will replace with inferior players again. That was always going to come unstuck at some stage.

    .

I think the evidence tonight would back up my supposition.

  24. Truth4767.

Serious post to you. It’s not downsizing, it’s right-sizing.

It’s unfortunate (for you and your, erm, brethren?) that it’s taken so long, but we have done this for about 8 or 9 years now – spending what we can afford. I have no sympathy for those that still feel the £4-6m annual spends are ‘downsizing’ from the frivolous days of Flo, Sutton and co. Those days were a madness that would drive both clubs to the brink had they been sustained. For all the brouhouha on here about the Whyte Knave, there is one utterance from him that cannot be denied (and I once more paraphrase): the orcs cannot continue to piss such money down the drain.

You are now paying, and hopefully paying much more very soon, for trying to compete with what is essentially a much bigger club. It’s a hard fact, but a fact nonetheless.

    Merry Christmas to you.
