    What happens in this transfer window, i.e. tomorrow, will have a huge affect on our CL qualification chances. We need players in, and out, and build a settled side for July. Today’s game has been a massive distraction to the business in hand.

     

    I think Armstrong and GMS are likely to sign, will be interesting to see who else.

    Having watched the complete non-event today. I hope we can all move onwards & upwards, Sevco are absolutely no threat at all, next season will be even worse when the financial reality starts to hit home and they are forced to live within their means.

     

     

    Hopefully we can push to get GMS in quickly, as Stokes is a waste of space – surely no chance of an appearance in the BIG games v Inter or anyone else for that matter, a man short all day long. Guidetti showed a lack of composure, got far too easily riled up – although how the referee awarded the free kick the other way is beyond belief.

     

     

    We will need to step up several notches to give Inter some trouble over the 2 legs.

     

     

    Looking for some good news in the remaining hours of the transfer window…get it done Celtic…cover for Keeper, CB, LB and wide left…plenty of dross to ship out. Build from a position of strength for once.

    Just back in after a great night with the Perth WA CSC, around 250 Tims bouncing for about 2 and a half hours. Done just enough to curtail the probable excesses of the Hun support.

     

    Pitch and referee both dreadful, Commons once again on target from around the box.

     

    Brown and Bitton both excellent, most others competent, apart from our goalie! A wee note on John Rose from the Bramalea CSC who was in Perth tonight watching the Celts slay the foe malign…….and loving it.

    Just had my breakfast, checked the score and scanned back briefly.

     

     

    My fervent hope today is that all Tims everywhere now take to heart just what a joke of a club Sevco are, and are left with nothing more than a sense of an anti climax over today’s game on the tattie patch. Let’s move into the 21st century and consign the awareness of them to history.

     

     

    Glad it’s over, and my hope is that we stop talking about it ASAP.

     

     

    The ref was cheating to keep the score down, no surprise. At least there was no 5-0 scoreline to get the knuckle draggers amped up.

     

     

    Now we can look forward to the final and some real football.

    Think Thomson replacing Madden was very deliberate. Madden is just too much of a week know Hun. What they needed was someone to stop us running up a cricket score.

     

     

    I don’t know if Thomson is a Hun or not, but he’s establishment. Think his performance today made perfect sense if your aim was to prevent a rout.

    I gave the whole thing a miss today – only turned on the PC when I thought the game was finished.

     

     

    To my surprise, we were still playing injury time – so I had the good fortune to watch Scott Brown giving the gambling decorator a right good kick up the erchie.

     

     

    Was also tremendously impressed with Broonies interview – if ever anyone said a lot without saying much at all, he achieved it.
