TT, with all due respect when Wispy signed they didn’t have the luxury of being able to make 3 substitutions allowing players the chance to show their abilities.
Haven’t seen the game today, and I was a bit surprised we ditched the 3-5-2 but it has risks in terms of lack of centre-back cover so I can understand the return to the 4-2-3-1. That said, a win is a win and on a cold day and first match back at CP then we should not be so sniffy about this kind of win. In the next 3 matches we will be away from home in the SPFL so win those 3 and I think we could be well on our way. Pressure back on them tomorrow and that’s what matters most.
Hayes is a squad filler, not a first choice left back. If Taylor was fit enough to be on the bench today he should have started.
El Hamed, Christie and Elyounoussi will improve us when fit.
Lenny needs to decide on a system and stick to it. One winger, two strikers for me.

Like many on here I, sometimes, have a little disquiet about the way our manager deploys his resources. (selection, formation and tactics)
But, to be fair, he is attempting to get new combinations to work

Preserve energy levels among key players
AND
Win matches.

Thank you…..my thoughts precisely….Copenhagen is the most important game for me…..we are irrelevant in this pathetic pub league….lest we we should forget…..the spirit of 67…we need to reinstate our european credentials. Beating mickey mouse teams like RC and the team formerly known as “Rangers” is irrelevant …..when viewed through the prism of European glory

From the comments and observations it would appear we were pretty poor defensively and RC had a good few chances…When OE enters his presence makes a big difference and all’s well …or is it…
I sincerely hope that the flaws in this team can be corrected …quickly…and we can get a consistency In our selection…We cannot afford any slip ups ….
The management need to get a game plan whereby we dominate the midfield from the start … forget the negative cross field passing …against Killie we seemed to getting there….
According to Lenny he has nothing to do with tactics …well what is your job then? ….and who picks the team to implement those tactics? ….at home in the league we have seldom seen fast flowing dominant performances…We have a very big game coming up at Motherwell shortly a performance like today’s (Pre Eddy) I’m afraid will not do…

DUSHANBE BHILLY BHOY – a EL semi final or 9iar? CL group stage or 10iar? For me European football is a distraction at the moment to making history at home. I’d love both, of course . . . but league is priority.

Your comment sadly sums up state of Scottish football…..The rest of the world does not care about 9IAR or whatever….Scottish mickey mouse league. We cannot keep dining out on 1967…..we need to remove this mentality…. beating the team formerly known as “Rangers” ….20 times a season ….ask yourself the question….who, outside of sectarian Scotland cares?….globally it is seen as tribalism. Celtic are either a European powerhouse or a backwater pub league participant. I want the former, and not teh latter. Seville was such a momentous occasion…. We owe, to our 67 heros, to push on,,,in EUROPE…and we haven’t…and that is down to this “beating rangers 20 or,30 times a season, being more important” mentality.

The most rediculous load of claptrap I’ve read for a while, without winning this little backwater there is no Europe. So how will that work if we progress in Europe this year but fail to get a European place in the league?
