    Oh dear, a 3-0 win today and this one’s not good enough, that one’s terrible.

     

     

    None of you malcontents ever get joy out of Celtic, you just move onto your next target.

     

     

    Thank God I know some decent Celtic fans who take joy out of just seeing us play.

    Re £20’s plenty banner today in relation to away ticket prices. That campaign puts the Board in a difficult position. As i understand it the £52 for the Newco games is built into the season ticket price. So whilst the away support are being charged £52 in reality everyone in the stadium is being charged £52. The Board cannot commit to £20’s plenty without reducing the season ticket price which will not happen.

    My humble opinion, I think Lenny thinks Ross County are poor and he had enough in the tank to mess about with it today. It didnt really work but he was proved correct (if I’m right). Wednesday and onwards will be a different ball game however.

    Bauer played well McGregor and Eddy. Very ponderous all over the pitch. Hayes and Jozo were particularly poor today. Were lucky to go in 1 up at half time as RC had 4 great chances. 3 points but a poor performance ☘️

    However, a disproportionate amount of time is spent on the negatives.

     

     

    Seen some terrible football and results from Celtic in my time and these are not those times as witnessed by this team hardly ever beat. Trophies and leagues won. Even beating decent Italian team home and away in Europe.

     

     

    Yes, Celtic are not perfect but they ain’t as bad as the amount of negativity they are getting, from some.

    Mikey has come in for a bit of criticism here today, must say I thought he did well, should have pulled the trigger when Eddie set him up but apart from that he did OK for me. Over the season there will be great, moderate & poor performances however what counts is winning the game. Lenny will know as well as anyone here the limitations of today’s performance but he is not going to give Boyd and his ilk ammo..

     

    He stood by his players which was the correct thing to do but he will be looking for a massive improvement on Wednesday.

    I wasn’t having a go at guys who were at the game and have commented that the performance was poor first half etc…

     

     

    It’s those who post multiple times with the same message about players and formations. Then post the same thing, the same criticisms multiple times as if we didn’t get it the first time.

     

     

    It’s all about opinions of course but the record does need changing occasionally as the repetitiveness is really depressing.

    Personal opinion on today’s performance

     

    Moritz Bauer, did ok, the problem was the player in front of him

     

    Yip James Forrest, lost count how often he was hiding behind Ross County players, giving Bauer no option

     

    Likewise, Mikey Johnson and his magic feet, when through he tried to lay on the chance for Edouard hatrick, he should have gone for it himself

     

    And although lots of effort from Hayes, he was little help for Mikey.

     

    What I struggle with

     

    Bayo comes on at Kilmarnock, not even in squad

     

    Why change Ntcham for Rogic ? And not give Klimala a chance or likewise Mikey and Karomonka ??

     

    Although didn’t have a great game, thank god Jozo is now fit, with Ajer I’ll. and Bitton injured, we are struggling at CH, with young Walsh on the bench, wonder where O’Connor is, ooops he’s gone out to Partick Thistle for game time

    Incidentally I think it is pretty obvious Lenny does not rate

     

    Taylor or Bolingoli ?? There’s £6m spent on 2 players who are struggling to fit into Celtic at left back

     

    4 games in the league for El Hammad at right back since August

     

     

    Not sure we have improved much of the squad or shown the ambition to grow since we lost the fourteen players in the summer

    Norriem. Bang on about Forrest not creating space for himself and giving Bauer any option

     

     

    He is the only player I have ever seen that actually goes into the position his Marker is

     

     

    I don’t think there is a lazier player in our squad

     

    In Dubai he was clearly hiding a belly under his training shirt

     

     

    A stint in the bench might have helped him

     

    But to pitch him straight back in after a woeful December and against the team with an Awefull defence and then doing his vanishing act did no favours for himself

     

     

    Why oh why Neil.

    On my way in today at about 2.40 saw Bayo heading out of the front door over towards the car park at superstore at pace he looked raging to me ,only my opinion but it must be difficult to keep all the squad happy.I was disappointed we didn’t get to see Patryk Klimala for at least a 10 minute cameo at the end although I thought Karamoko done more in 5 minutes than Jamesie did the whole game .i thought Bauer and Johnson did ok but can’t see what Neil sees in Johnny Hayes. In my opinion Bolingoli is the best footballer athlete and also has a bit of height as well. He needs coached and encouraged in my opinion. Also I must be one of the few on here who does not rate Elyounoussi,I would pick Mikey ahead of him every time but that is only my opinion.HH

    All ignored by Clancy

     

    Must have been over 10 fouls Alone committed on Scott

    Surely always a discussion .. if the facts suit my side of the discussion I can understand why you would feel that way …

     

     

    Maybe when we stop winning leagues, cups and don’t make knockout stages of Euro competitions you might have a point … but until then you are probably taking the correct option
