The reason you have to change the coach in these circumstances is not personal.
If a team know it isn’t working , some will rebel and some won’t which leads to even more of a shambles.
That’s why a new coach gets a bounce as they set new tactics which everyone buys into. To have a longer term improvement, that coach has to perfect that shape when they understand the squad
This should have happened 10 years ago after SC Semi but surely has to happen now
