And Sparta are supposedly the whipping Boys of the group ….sadly we have too big an opinion of ourselves……After our last two games we thought we just had to turn up here tonight ….We are playing an organised team that are coached and know what they are doing ….Us …well we’re just our usual…keep possession at all cost square and back without any plan . How many times do we take free kicks in the opposition half and the ball ends up with our keeper who boots it up the park…dreadful dreadful…Sorry Lenny 😔
The object of the game is to keep the ball, who said it’s to score goals. High possession stats are worth more than goals.

Defensively we are absolutely shocking. How on earth did Duffy cope in the EPL? He has no clue about organization and has shown no leadership qualities. He prefers to just throw himself around to try block shots.

Simple. In Scotland the gulf in quality between our players and the other teams’ players (save for Sevco) is huge. Not only is the gul huge but the base level of our opposition in Scotland is low.
The mistakes you are seeing tonight- lack of formation, discipline, coherent tactics etc are all present domestically but we get away with it.
When it comes to Europe the quality is raised and we are exposed.
Neil should have been fired weeks ago. With each week that goes by we close the window of opportunity to make meaningful change.
To spend £30m+ and end up with this level of performance in Europe on a consistent basis is unbelievable.

Our midfield are a bunch off pansies. Ive never seen a midfield lose so many 50, 50s. Duffy and Bitton have been horrendous. Our home performances are a real worry.
