Cheers, I conked out last night and just read your post, as if I didn’t have enough to worry about next Sunday she came home from school on Friday as high as a kite with a bidding prayer to learn, there are two masses for the school’s communions, 14th May 10am & 21st May 12pm, gutted for the bhoys (& some of the kids) on the 21st as there are plenty season ticket holders and their mates will not be at Celtic park for the Hearts game, from a selfish point of view at least my family & friends don’t have to make that choice as the hoops are at Pittodrie on the Friday :-)

Breakfast, 10am mass, the bookies then cheering on Partick in the wee Glasgow derby

Enjoy your day fellow Celts we live in great Celtic times

By the way obviously bet responsibly but Brighton even money (double your dough) to win the league today……worth a quid of anybody’s cash, dodgy Dave K should lob £30m on then Caixinha could have a war chest of the £30m winnings

  3. Enjoyed the game yesterday,,,,some great movement and energy by the team, although bordering on the turgid in the first half. My only complaint is “TURN THAT BLOODY P.A. SYSTEM DOON A BIT”, a lots of us in the JS stand couldn’t hear ourselves think!. Also ‘GET THE TELLY FIXED’ in the LL stand. Surely with the outrageous price increase in our season tickets its an easy request!.

  4. The loan deal that topped all previous Celtic loan deals was Patrick Roberts

    to Celtic Way.

They’re usually short but Celtic somehow with our Man City affiliation pulled out a plum and a season and a half period that reignited the gifted young Englishman’s career, who now has a stick or twist situation. There’s a photo on the net’ of a young boy in his ‘Carling’ hoops , a reminder and clear evidence that he comes from good Celtic stock.

With Celtic’s wealth now ‘off the radar’ what is the fee involved to make Patrick stay for the tilt at ten, along with the committed mercurial Irishman, who has used him sparingly but to maximum climatic effect?

Brendan Rodgers is the man with the ‘midas touch’ if Patrick goes to back to meet Pep, he’ll likely languish in under development way behind a daisy chain of Brazilians and wannabe mercenary footballers at a peculiarly fake manufactured ‘Club’ that isn’t even recognised by aging Maine Rd men.

The EPL caravan rolls on and we’re told Celtic ‘cannot compete’ but we haven’t heard yet from Brendan?. It’s the polite cannot afford and the Celtic supporters whose sacrosanct season ticket money only goes up, will find out during June July and August how ‘ambitious’ Celtic have become is the new age where we could likely beat the rest of the combined SPL budgets via Virgil Van Dijk’s see on clause?.

  5. I think it was Mags Mcgill who raised the question of CQN’s site security. We still have the “site not secure” logo when you log in – to the left of http://www.celtic quick news. Will this be addressed? If not why not? Would appreciate a response from WC or Paul 67 or any interested parties. Hope you had a great day yesterday apart from the result – Paul. Hail Hail Hebcelt sorry as well as the result

  7. Day of statements yesterday.

Both the club’s and the SFA’s both say Celtic will receive potentially less tickets. Celtic have now seemed to have publicized that we always get less when it a “50/50” (sic) split as it makes it far easier to reduce the amount of tickets available to SB’S due to “contractual obligations” and gives them someone to blame.

There is always three versions of the truth. Celtic’s SFA’s and Noel Gallaghers.

He said don’t believe the truth and I tend to agree.

  8. Also, we always get less for the final than the semi-final due to the SFA’s football family. What we have been told is nothing new…..

It might well be nothing new,but that in itself requires an answer.

The problem has been going on for ages, meantime we are continually drawn to play clubs who can’t sell their allocation yet demand and get 50% of the available tickets.

E-Bid have told me I can’t sell booze on their site so here is a new listing for BIG CHARITY RAFFLE TICKETS!

If you buy one of these at a fiver then you have the chance to win one of the following three prizes.

    1. ACGR’s Single Malt Glenfarclas – an aged single malt in an Oloroso finished cask. This is bottle number 67 of a private bottling. It can’t be bought in the shops and is a superb dram presented in a special presentation case.

    2. A 1litre bottle of Royal Dragon 5 x distilled Russian (Lithuanian) Vodka in a hand blown bottle complete with glass dragon and 24 carat gold leaves. The bottle comes in a self-lighting (when opened) presentation case. This is one of the truly great vodkas of the world and is definitely not the kind of thing you will find on any supermarket shelf.

    3. A 1982 Vintage port from Boa Vista which was 6 years matured and then bottled in 1988. This comes in its own branded wooden box and is a truly great Port. Just what is needed in Lisbon year!

I can’t post photos of these items on e-bid and they are listed simply by name with no reference to alcohol so the description is here. If anyone really wants a photo then drop me a line jjoe88@hotmail.co.uk

    Best of luck.

All previous ticket sales remain valid and I will run this for a fortnight so raffle drawn on the morning of the 21st of May which just happens to be ……….. FLAG DAY at Celtic Park so may be able to hand these things over at CQN corner.

    Good luck

I do that now , it also means I stay off the site a lot more now. A double bonus for everyone. HH

I’ll give it a go thanks

  18. I’m partially deaf but even I found the tannoy system in the North Stand very very loud yesterday. Isn’t about time too we had a reliable big screen at both ends of the park?

  19. Well the truth came out about the ticket allocation poked a few eyes out in here, lol, you know the ones I mean, the ones who just can’t wait to have a dig at the board, and of course they will always be here and rightfully keep up the agenda that’s just they way they are blessum.

Not that it bother’s me as the closest I’ll be to hampden at cup final day is on. 75 bus from castlemilk passing it heading for the Gorbals , I wouldent go near the sheethole, in saying that I often cut trough it to my bank at Mount Florida as a short cup, saw Reagan one morning getting out of a car with another guy I was about 50 yards away I shouted to him..” hey Reagan your a f…… A…….le” he shouted back to me” this is private property” or something like that waving his finger I just laughed and shouted back at him..”G F Yourself ” and kept on walking , made my day that did, true story,

Team did well yesterday, St Johnstone would get football playing that style of football banned.

Sitting in Heathrow Airport waiting for 8 & 1/2 hour flight back to Texas. Really enjoyed the game yesterday, some of the close control in tight situations was wonderful to watch. There seems to be real trust in teammates, happy to pass to them even though they have a man marking them. Rogic in particular had wonderful feet.

When catching the flight this morning from Glasgow Airport, I noticed a stand offering a free Sun or Sunday Times. I decided that the view of fellow Celtic fans is more important than reading comment from a journalist with a blue agenda.
