Last year I was really concerned that we hadn’t burst the bank for a centre mid. I was utterly wrong. A lot of us were.
This year I’m concerned about centre half. I hope we get someone in. Of quality.
But I’ve got things wrong so often that I’ve learned not to get too dramatic about it.

A few stokies watching the game at our cricket club ( bar duties today). The place isn’t exactly bouncing. Turgid stuff
Scott Fox, Marcus Fraser, Jamie Lindsay (?) and Michael Gardyne plenty of ex-Celts interest for me in this game, really think BT sport has covered Scottish football far better than any other tv mob, really like the Sunday afternoon kickoffs instead of lunchtime….. not sure about other teams but know for a fact The Rangers have never beaten Celtic or Ross County over 90mins in the few years of their existence:-)

A lot of if’s and but there to be fair. There is no confirmation that Burnley actually put a bid in, and if they did, quite rightly it was rejected, we were in the midst of a CL qualifying campaign, to sell him at that stage would have been madness. Brendan did say nobody would be sold until the qualifiers were done. And we haven’t even started on the measly £10m alleged offer. Spurs have just bought a centre back from Ajax for £30m plus.
The more i think about it, i’m more confident it’s rubbish.

Not Celtic or football related, but jut a snapshot of life in the West of Scotland in 2017.
Yesterday a 30 year man with a long history of mental illness, and who has recently been discharged from Leverndale Hospital, crossed Rutherglen Main Street during one of the Towns many orange order marches, he was returning home after shopping. Unaware of the consequences of breaking the ranks, he was bundled to the pavement by 3 marchers, his glasses were knocked from his face and broke. The police took him into the back of their van and questioned him.. he was later released without charge. There was no action against the 3 marchers.
The man suffers from Asbergers and Paranoia, the man is my Nephew.
