  1. Timjim.

We have two strikers on the bench Edouard and Weah, I don’t think you could place Bayo in front of those two, also as Bournesouprecipe pointed out Bayo is not in Euro squad.

    Hail Hail

  6. Hope Hayes has a solid game – the lad deserves some luck, he’s had precious little of it since joining us. When he came on against Hibs at left back he did not look comfortable or up to speed. But rather him there than Calmac.

    4-0 to the good guys.

  7. Refs.

Many on here say if they were the ref they would favor Celtic.

In most 50/50 situations we would lean to our team.

Big difference is we would understand why and recognize whereas the huns are willing to blatantly cheat without conscience.

Sniggering and sleekit is acceptable in their culture.

Once when my daughter was playing in an u13s friendly game the ref failed to appear so the English coach of the other team asked me if i would so the game could happen.

I was very worried about showing bias to my team and on a few marginal calls gave the opponents the benefit.

There was one girl on the other team who was dirty and played like a hun then moaned if anything went against her.She had one foul and tirade to many so i went to her coach and said sub her or i’m sending her off.Common sense and only a friendly.

The parents on my team were furious and at half time gave me stick for what they saw as a biased performance.

With a few minutes of the game left and our opponents leading one nil one of our kids was scythed down in the attacking zone and i played advantage as our centre forward latched on to ball and equalized .Meanwhile the parents of my team are giving me dogs abuse for not calling fall only to suddenly realize they had scored and changed to celebrating.

When the game finished 1-1 and i went over to my team one of the dads said good job we scored as that was a terrible decision not to call that blatant foul.

Sometimes the ref canny win and their nights in the lodge are no pleasant.

  8. St Johnstone will target Hayes, not a natural defender and small for a full back, they’ll load high balls into his area of the pitch.

Hope he plays well but he’s a weakness that they’ll try to exploit.

  9. What is the Stars on

    Fan a tic

    Everybody hates refs.

Have a look at Rangers Media (bears den) or follow follow (bear pit) they are convinced there is a referee conspiracy against them….organised by Big Peter of course

  10. ROBINBHOY – That depends on them getting the ball :) WIll be interesting to see how he links up with Sinclair. I think it should be a comfortable shift for him unlike the Hibs game last week as they were prepared to press high and he had no time to settle when he came on.

Really hoping he is not there come the Valencia game though . . .

  11. The Ref can win if he Refs fairly and doesn’t tie himself in noughts trying to either cheat toward the team he favours or going against the team he favours trying to show impartiality.

In other words get professional impartial Refs. They will make mistakes, but they will be few and far between.

    D. :)

  12. C’Mon Celtic

    Let the people sing

Think we could win comfortably today especially with an early goal but will bite yer hand off for a scrappy 1-0

  13. Canamalar it looks like OCD obsession on

It just dawned on me that, all the fouls given against Celtic to break up our play, fouls for and penalties for the rotten mob are made to provide statistical evidence they we are one of the dirties teams while they are the most fouls against team.

So if we try and use stats to prove a case they have their alternative set to counter that argument.

  14. It is so obvious that the selection, recruitment and training of Scots refs /match officials require a major over hall and rethink. Burying their head in the sand and having a wee chat with various club reps while their match officials continually feck up (deliberately or otherwise) isn’t working. Scottish football is rapidly becoming a joke because of their ineptitude / bias (delete where appropriate). I noticed the McGregor assault on young Ferguson is being shown all over Europe with the general consensus being ‘is the ref blind – why didn’t he send the keeper off?’

  15. Good to see Sevxo have an additional game against Killie.

I’m sure Jabba is already composing the request for an extension to the season.
