    Gordybhoy64,

Aye, paul67 made an offer for ernie lynch to meet lawwell and discuss his concerns, ernie declined, I volunteered to take ernie’s place.

  2. So am I right in thinking I can go and buy a 4million pound house then say Iam not paying for it but I want to stay in the house, is that not what Rangers are doing?

  4. Neil canamalar Lennon hunskelper extrordinaire on

    Calabam,

I though they got the idea from you

  5. That’s the $64 dollar question mi amigo, what’s it all about.

I want answers to questions, some I would rather ask face to face, I trust you to ask the questions, and to give me honest answers to what your questions were.

Maybe Paul will take you up, I hope he does.

  6. Neil canamalar

Cant see paul arrnaging a meeting with the man who in my opinion is running our club very well if thats the kind of chat you have! How was the holiday? eat any babies?????

  7. Every time there is a `development’ in the death of our foe, there is a knee-jerk reaction all round.

This is quickly followed by a period of reflection and fact finding. Usually with questions about our boards role in events and “dry powder.”

Stage three is a mixture of “thank god they’re still goin down” or “I knew they’d cheat their way back.”

Next stage – who knows? It will go on, and on, and on………………

As some great sage said – “There are two certainties in life. Death and taxes.”

I think we’ll find that in R*nkers case it’s “taxes and death”.

  9. Canamalar,

you obviously have very strong feelings about the board,

not sure if your description is suitable for the blog,

not looking for a fight, just an observation,

i am hoping that we have some plans in place if the huns get away with the newco stroke, cant understand why we aint making some public statement

    about the situation

I said earlier, ernie is probably a mhan of honour, his word is his bond, so a secrecy agreement will likely be honoured.

Me, I’m just a lawn mower you can tell me by the way I walk.

If I think I’m being used I have absolutely no problem breaking empty promises, it’s a capitalist thing.

Fork tongue is what I’m used to when the money men try and justify savings.

  11. The Reason Why the Celtic Board.. his Kept quiet…is

They are waiting tae see the end of This ..Play.. Check that!

  12. Don’t know about anyone else but big Mo impressed me tonight. His hold up play was as good as anyone who’s played up front for us this season.

Needs to work on his shooting though :-)

  13. 67Heaven ... I am Neil Lennon..!!..Truth and Justice will always prevail on

Just in from the game, haven’t read back yet………. Good happy atmosphere, thanks to THAI TIMS and the GB ….. end of season stuff but my mates and I had some good banter on the latest developments coming out of hunland….. There has got to be a book in this for someone………. SPL / SFA etc are all in this little make-believe bubble, and when it bursts they will all run for cover ….. This is SPIN taken to the Nth degree…

” Listen bhuns, this is the best way forward….yur fecked, but it will be very slow, and you won’t feel any pain until the shoite hits the fan….meantime let’s pretend that our saviour has arrived (again)……. Then, when it goes pear-shaped (again), we can blame the Yankee bafoon (sorry, tycoon)’ just like we did the MMB” ……

Desperate measures for a desperate situation….

  14. Neganon

Last season was that we’d finish trophyless and third, this season was a straight first or second in the league

I have an organisation in mind again if you can’t think of anyone for me to match your donation. I’m not sure theres much sport to be had next season, although there’s plenty of time yet for us to disagree about something :))

I’ve just fallen asleep again. I have to go to bed, I’ll look in tomorrow morning. Goodnight and god bless

    Goodnight all tims

  15. HT

I thought Mo was ok, had a few good runs, a few good passes, and yes he held the ball up well, his flick/dummy for Anto’s goal was world class btw :>)

He needs time, he will do the biz when he scores his first for us.

  16. Neil canamalar Lennon hunskelper extrordinaire on

    Gordybhoy64,

Correct, very very strong feelings of mistrust as you can see, a lot less respect than ernie, if I’m convinced by them, then I will let up, if I let up there’s quite a few here know I’m not for sale.

Paul67 made his offer to ernie for whatever reason, all I’m asking is the same opportunity.

How can it hurt if I’m put in my place ?

  17. How do only four celts get in the team of the year? We break the shut out record and yet no tam or Forster in team? Terrors have five listed and Davis inclusion a joke.

MoM tonight was north stand ball boy for not tripping over his bib, poor bhoy looked about three years old!

  18. Thanks guys.

I was hoping it wouldn’t be Mark as he’s been a good, solid servant over the years. Giving him the captaincy tonight is probably NL’s goodbye – hope I’m wrong.

  19. My dear,dear,dear,friend.. HamiltonTim

    Kojak

yer pal who thinks ye ur as wise as a wily ol owl.

    Still laughin.

  21. A relaxed night in the evening sunshine at Celtic Park, a game that felt like a pre-season friendly and a positive scoreline to boot. All is well.

Meantime, over in the south, the next act of the pantomime has begun. The PR spin is laughable (in particular the suggestion history is transferable) and serves only to add further to the shambles.

Question for Bill Miller and the MSM regarding the 3 year exclusion from European competition. It is now widely accepted a newco will be excluded from Uefa competition for 3 years. The “plan” being spun from the Miller camp is that the playing side of the business will be incubated within a newco (while the oldco is “cleansed”) before the playing side of the business is repatriated back into its original home.

Ignoring the nonsense involved in a lot of that, at what point does it dawn on anyone that, if such a plan was followed through, at the point the playing side of the business is repatriated into the oldco, the 3 year exclusion period from European competition would restart ……………….

  22. Canamalar,

i dont see a problem with you taking ernies place,i am surprised

that he never took up Paul67s offer,if you do get a meeting i will let

you buy me a beer and tell me all about it,is the dolphin suitable;-)))

  23. Not that long home from tonights match which was destined to be an anti climatic game, after Sunday’s high, it was a family night out, and a perfect evening for the infectious Thai Tims.

Neil Lennon played fringe players all of whom it could be argued failed to grab their chance to shine.

McGeouch was uncomfortable wide on the right, Bangura didn’t score, or take up scoring positions, Kelvin Wilson looked brittle, and Mark Wilson may have waved goodbye.

Anthony Stokes, I felt was poor in failing to lead the line, and it was left to Ledley, Izzaguirre, and to a lesser extent Commons to add any class to a below par performance, but a welcome three points.

Think Neil Lennon will return the side to more familiar lines for the trip to Dundee.

Beautiful summers night in Paradise, – didn’t half turn parky.

    Hail Hail

NL came out after the game and said that Mark W would be offski, hence he was given the armband.

Personally I would like Mark to stay as a squad player , because

    – he never lets us down , and can come inform injury and almost immediately play at a decent level. He doesn’t need 6 / 7 games to get up to speed

    – his wages are not astronomical and to sign a guy with an equivalent CV would cost a lot more

    – we need guys in the squad who can come in 9 or 10 times a season and not get stage struck.

I am not pretending Mark is a world beater, but , as a squad player he is up there.
