KYOGO FURUHASHI is back in the Celtic firing line for the Champions League Group F encounter against Shakhtar Donetsk at Parkhead tonight.
The Japanese international didn’t feature in Saturday’s dramatic and controversial 4-3 win over Hearts at Tynecastle.
However, Kyogo will team up alongside Giorgos Giakoumakis against the Ukrainians in a must-win match for Ange Postecoglou’s men.
A victory is crucial if the Hoops hope to gain a place in the Europa League beyond the turn of the year.
THAT’S MY BHOYS…Ange Postecoglou congratulates Greg Taylor and Giorgos Giakoumakis after the 4-3 win against Hearts at Tynecastle.
Postecoglou has made another four changes from the starting line-up in Edinburgh with matchwinner Greg Taylor, a second-half substitute for Alexandro Bernabei, in at the start. Josip Juranovic replaces Anthony Ralston at right-back while Liel Abada and Sead Haksabanovic get the nod to be involved at the kick-off.
James Forrest and Daizen Maeda are among the stand-by squad and are joined on the bench by fit-again David Turnbull.
The first game between the teams in Europe’s elite competition ended in a 1-1 draw in Warsaw.
