DAVID TURNBULL gets a rare first-team start in the Scottish Cup fourth round encounter against Morton at Parkhead this afternoon.
The classy midfielder fired in a glorious 30-yarder for the Hoops’ final goal in the 4-0 midweek win over St Mirren – and Ange Postecoglou rewarded him with a place alongside Callum McGregor and Aaron Mooy against the Championship outfit.
HIGH HOPES…Alexandro Bernabei skips over a challenge from Kilmarnock’s Danny Armstrong in Celtic’s 2-0 Viaplay Cup win at Hampden last weekend.
The Australian World Cup star is also one of the manager’s four changes – the other two being Alexandro Bernabei and Daizen Maeda.
There is still no-show from Giorgos Giakoumakis who missed the Saints match with an injury. He trained yesterday, but has still been overlooked by the manager as the trek to Hampden on June 3 kicks off in the east end of Glasgow.
TEAM: Hart; Johnston, Starfelt, Kobayashi, Bernabei; Turnbull, McGregor, Mooy; Abada, Kyogo, Maeda. Subs: Bain, Haksabanovic, Jota, Iwata, O’Riley, Hatate, Forrest, Lawal and Welsh.
