Confusion as SFA appears lax on terms

1036

Is it really possible that Charles Green made a genuine oversight and believed that monies due to Rangers FC (IA) could be paid by a debtor to selective creditors in order to let his Newco gain access to the Scottish Football League?

Back in May, while Rangers FC (IA) were adamant they would continue in business, the SPL agreed to pay money due to the club directly to creditors.  The club subsequently failed to pay, or agree terms with, creditors and a creditor has asked BDO to liquidate them.  The lawyers have earned enough from this saga in recent months, they would be scrambling for Gratuitous Alienation cast studies if the SPL was to selectively pay football clubs.

It looks like Mr Green is tying himself in knots over the Newco/Oldco routine.  His attention to detail has the potential to become legendary, however, he is entitled to wonder why the SFA have allowed his Newco membership despite apparently not meeting agreed terms. I am sure the SFA president will be all over this issue like a rash, demanding clear and proper process is followed.

Or is the SFA president still the only man at Hampden who cannot participate in any of the important issues concerning Scottish football?

Helsingborgs Champions League hopes have been dealt a blow with striker Alfred Finnbogason on the brink of a €500,000 move to Heerenveen.

Finnbogason has been on loan from Lokern scoring 12 times from 14 starts and 3 substitute appearances including a goal away from home against Slask Wroklaw.

Earlier today Helsingborgs director Paul Myllenberg said: “We’ve said our bit and the ball is in Lokeren’s court, but from there it’s quiet.

Helsingborgs have had an option to sign Finnbogason but Lokern have accepted the deal from Heerenveen after growing tired of delays at the Swedish end.

On Saturday Finnbogason scored twice in the 7-2 win over Kalmar but that looks certain to be his farewell appearance for the club.

Helsingborgs are currently in fifth place in the table and travel to face leaders Elfsborg on Saturday.

The best singer I have ever heard if I may be unusually modest is my good self. I base this on experience of watching my audience after I have captivated them. How do you detect how good you really are ?

I note my audience crying in unison when I sing and play. Slapping the ground in appreciation sometimes slapping their foreheads of the ground in scenes of mass suicide.

I have been to many concerts from si called crooners and power balladeers and never saw it once.

This is you and my secret.

  4. Totally off topic and I am not advertising anything or endorsing anything.

But…..I smoked heavily for 49 yrs. and I had to quit. Ten different attempts and nothing worked until I bought a decent e-cigarette. In 3 months I’m down to nearly zero nicotine…one final push and I’ll have beat the monkey off my back.

as for your team, i almost agree except, if he’s fit i would start commons instead of sami and juggle him and twardzik in the wide positions. commons thrives on games. and i think we’ll see a fair bit of twardzik this season, neil seems to like him.

as to where i’m from… cambuslang originally, then about 13 years in aberdeenshire, and for the last couple of years, back down in glasgow.

to answer the next question, no i wasn’t “in” peterheid, but i did have a peterheid postcode.

Happens all the time. Sometimes my fan club present me with petitions begging me not to spoil them again as they were so moved emotionally. The inevitable delay in the applause is due to them being so awe struck by the power and beauty of my singing.

Thought Commons should have a rest after his travels, he is our best player at the moment and would prefer he was fit and ready for Helsingborg rather than risk Saturday.

Young Filip and Jackson Irvine are the ones to break through, think Watt has a chance this season to push on.

CQN was talking about the Risorgimento earlier. The Revolution of 1848 started because citizens in Lombardy stopped smoking and playing the lottery to deny the Austrians taxation revenue.

Near the end, at the battle of Villa Glori, Garibaldi’s liberators were led by John Tobacco.

  15. my best gig… knebworth, c.1989.

in truth it was crap. i was so far away from the stage i could have stayed at home, but i do get to say i saw led zep(ish), the beatles(ish) and pink floyd at the same gig. but really it was because i pulled a really fit blonde lassie. great gig.

the actual best one was either oasis at king tuts about 1993 or, and this is a bizarre one…

beck, at the gig on the green, the day/2 days before the 6-2 demolition. it was about 3pm and i’d never even heard of the guy. he blew my socks off. never listened to him since really, but he put on a show.
