    Just been out for a celebratory pint of Deuchars and a half of Old Pulteney. On the very short walk home on a beautiful night , I noticed that even the Moon had a happy glow.

    Massive turn around by the celtic. Ange and the players have been great under trying circumstances. Now it’s up the the board to keep backing Ange as he pushes the team up a few more gears. The foundations have been put in place we now have a distinct way of playing, the team should continue to improve simply because of the training and playing style being so familiar to them now.

     

     

    Let’s keep the momentum going, champions league is guaranteed so go add some high quality players to supplement the squad.

    First pick Leftsided centreback needed.

     

     

    Would happily shift startfelt over to ccv’s position if ccv does depart and add another one.

     

     

    First pick central defensive centremid who has good technical ability, is physical, mobile and positional sound.

     

     

    A winger or 2 if jota decides to depart.

     

     

    A third choice forward is also needed.

     

     

    Lots of players should be allowed to depart as they don’t appear up to the task or are simply not in the plans. Hazard, Doolan, jullien, scales, Boli, Soro, Mccarthy, Bitton, Dembele, forrest, Ajeta, Johnson, rogic (if rumours be wants to go are true). Like tùrnbull he is very one paced. I would be tempted to sell turnbull for the correct price if I knew it was gonna be used to strengthen the squad. Group of other youngsters can also go having failed to make the grade.

    Just before I head back into that bottle of Montifaud VSOP Cognac I’d just like to say a word for the kid who scored for Dundee Utd, Dylan Levitt. I’m convinced he could do a job for us and let CalMac move forward. Technically sound, picks a pass (and completes it), works non stop, and as Joe Hart will attest, has some shot on him. And he’s only 21.

     

     

    I wonder whether we have looked or are looking at him.
