    Did you lot see the 2nd half? If United had a decent finisher, then we could have been two down before Miku scored.

     

     

    I certainly don’t agree with the manager, who just said we were “brilliant”! Clearly taking the heat off his players. We move on.

    With Izzy missing who will play left back? Mulgrew against the pace of Pedro or Sanchis frightens the life out of me, Adam Matthews switch over to left would be a better option.

    I canny agree with any of that bar the last line. We did get slack.

     

     

    And to accuse of not trying in league is way off the mark. Imo

     

     

    Recently Celtic cannot be accused of throwing points away. Early September was the last lead lost.

    Hindsight is a wonderful gift. Yes in retrospection maybe Kayal or Lustig should have come on, but the reality is it could have happened regardless of who was on the pitch. We deserved to win but we didn’t, that is football, now if those 2 late goals cost us a trophy yes I would be gutted. As it is its onwards & upwards, top of the SPL, in CIS Cup Semis and 2nd in our Champions League group, what’s there not to like. Its great to be a Tim.

    Our coaching and approach has been poor in most sol games

     

    We have lot of possession with very few chances created

     

    Paying to much respect to opposition

     

    Strange tactics and team lacking shape?

     

    The coaches have done well in Europe but have been very poor in sol.

     

    Always think we need a lot better movement off the ball and less obsession with square passing and negative possession

    That really should be the end of the novelty Paddy sub. Lost the ball under no pressure in the build up to the corner they scored their first from. O.G was unlucky but more concerning was the manner in which we gave them the ball straight from the KO.

    we will win the league – so nobody is bothered but we really need to bring more focus to SPL duties.

     

     

    I’m definitely a believer in fielding first 11 every time..when we do we are great when we don’t we get punished..

    Positively, I thought young Watt again did well, great finish for his goal.

     

     

    Miku also did well. Clever footballer, good feet. Great finish.

     

     

    I look forward to seeing more of the same from both as the season develops.

     

     

    That apart, the remainder of the team were doing little more than making up the numbers.

     

     

    Wanyama, Ledley, Mulgrew and Commons provided nothing, and Lenny needs to consider the attutude and approach of his players at times. Listening to Lenny post-match, I don’t agree with his analysis. Too few drivers in the team today, and too many pedestrians, exemplified by the first 20 minutes of the 2nd half when United made a number of chances and ought to have scored two before Miku’s peach.

     

     

    Finally, Izzy’s hamstring injury is a blow ahead of Wednesday. Not the best of preparations altogether.

    Scott Brown had a great first half but visibly wilted in the second half as the game went on. Why did the manager not take him off bring on Kayal? If he makes it for Wednesday then I don’t expect that we will get more than an hour from him.

    Utd got a point from a jammy own goal in injury time.

     

     

    Yeah we shoulda seen it out but to suggest utd deserved the win is ludicrous imo.

    i see on here before game 4-0 5-0 etc,thats whats wrong with these players they think the same, they wont admit it but they do, hence the poor form at times,they know they will win the league is whats wrong with them.

    Top of the league, with a game in hand will do me. People seem to think

     

    we`ve got the right to win every game in the league regardles. I know

     

    another set of supporters who think the same way.

     

     

    Good to see miku celebrating his first goal with the fans, lucky we didn`t

     

    score five or six or we wouldnt have finished with eleven on the park.

    If you don’t press the ball and allow crosses into your penalty area then you’re liable to lose goals.

     

     

    We snatched a draw from the jaws of victory.

    Another poor display, though the goals were good.

     

    Glad Miku is off the mark and Watt did well.

     

     

    Commons was as bad today as he was good in midweek.

     

    Paddy McCourt showed why he doesn’t get many games. Talent but not aware enough at times. He lost the ball at a bad time as were were caught on the break.

     

    Too many lazy, complacent performers today.

     

    What did the coaching staff do when we lost the first goal? All we looked to do was hold on.

     

    Terrible when the other team looks more up for it.

     

     

    I wish we would start taking these lessons on board.
