I wonder if the ref would have been consistent in blowing for time with a corner to be taken if Neil hadn’t given him a roasting at half time.
Superb win for Celtic after the highs of Wednesday and three certain starters missing.
New players incoming, Van Dijk and Ambrose excellent clean sheet Utd never got a sniff can’t expect automatic east entertaining wins especially away, in a marathon.

We were great for the first 20 minutes, a bit flat afterwards. Virgil van Dijk was Beckenbaueresque. Efe also superb. Bring on Pukki!

Boerrigter didn’t get into it today.
We”re clearly not into full flow yet so getting points is what we need at this stage. Hopefully we start to peak faster than the other CL opponents who haven’t had to start their campaigns so early.

didn’t get a wee run out.
Hard fought 3 points on the back of a CL victory. Never easy going to Tannadice. This Utd team are not like Utd of old. They used to play entertaining football but this was all about stopping Celtic scoring and spoling the game. They got what they deserved.
Well done Stokesie – never stopped running all game. Won the FK and dispatched it into the top corner. Efe and Virgil had great games. Long may that continue. Amido looked good as well.

Fan a tic – he couldn’t let the corner go because he did exactly the same to celtic in the first half. Hilarious it came back to haunt him – he barely disguised his clear prejudice.
Very pleased with the work rate today we are missing a bit up front but then again we knew that. Lets hope Teemu is the answer.
Van dike was excellent – I feel he will really excel at celtic.

absolutely shocking this of ruining the game throughout europe.
In the same topic..can we no get a striker, an attacking midfielder and a left back. The clock is ticking down…I fear this is it as far as transfers.
It certainly looks like Efe and van Dyke is a formidable CB pairing.

Working today – glad to see we won. I gather my old colleague Crawford Allan had a stinker today. I was out boozing with an old mutual colleague last night and we happened to mention what a tosser he is.
