Good 3 points and thanks for the updates as in car for last 15 down Souff. Thought we were ok.
Some tired legs but assured performance from our two CB’s and hopefully Lustig has not taken a bad one.
Gunning should be referred to the panel for his initial kick out and then his blatant assault on Lustig.
Well done Stokes. Same as Wednesday in that he kept going. Methinks he will improve with an iut and out striker playing alongside him as he did when Hooper was there.
All in a very happy Bhoy who is now off to enjoy a 40th birthday bash with a contentment that only a cracking good week from Celtic can deliver.

Van Dijk was much better today. Looked a proper centre half.
Main ‘problem’ for us was too many players were trying to do too much on the ball. SOmetimes a quicker pass is a better option than trying to be too clever. In fact almost always.
You need to be mentally strong to get through these types of weeks. I think we showed that we are.
We also have a lot of technically able footballers.
Shaping up to be a good season for us. Hope the new Bhoys can show a bit more as they settle in. Poor Derk hardly kicked a ball. Amido needs a run of games I think.
Thought big Virgil strolled through that game. Excellent distribution.
Not a day to judge anyone negatively after such a big European game in the week.
Three points is all that matters today.

Very true, on the corner – we will not be treated any differently – and it bit him back.
I’d have thought even if he wasn’t off we’d be looking for cover/competition at left back so might not read too much into looking at players in that position.

Apparently there was the usual quota of negativity.

Izzy has not recaptured his initial form and is a liability at left back on too many occassions.
I like him going forward but feel he leaves us exposed at the back which allows teams to stretch our back line and create holes.
Matthews can easily cover or Charlie (lacking pace) until a replacement is found.
That said I truly hope he is not for the off and recaptures his form and does it the Celtic way.
If he leaves, good luck to him in his future career and thanks for his contribution to the Hoops.

If Izzy was being sold this weekend then Mulgrew or Matthews would have played left-back.
If they get Buttner in then we have two LB (Izzy/Buttner) just like we have 2 RB(Lustig/Matthews) which is what a good squad needs.
