Why do people keep defending Ambrose. He is quite simply one of the worst players ever to wear the hoops. If he plays on Tuesday our Champs league dream is over.
I have nothing against Efe he seems like a nice guy always time for the fans. But as a footballer man he keeps costing us goals. No defense for a defender who doesn’t defend.

No issues with Celtic TV in 1st half
Efe is generally a good footballer, but he just can’t go through a game without gifting a goal. We can’t play him against Malmo, it’ll cost us. This half has just proven that the second best team in Scotland is Celtic Reserves.
We are doing ok. Utd keeper has made a couple of decent saves albeit i’d like us to be creating more scoring opportunities given the control we have on the game. Dare I say it – we need a Lubo or Naka type player. The squad is ‘all graft no guile’
Efe was pretty much foot perfect until that moment. Must be a nightmare knowing your every mistake is going to be scrutinised & all the decent stuff that went before ignored.
9 changes from Wednesday, and we have a good performance.
Efe gave away the Pen. but the ball and D.Utd player had to get into the box first, so others failed to stop that move too.
He has had a good game, the whole team have.
Young Janko has been very impressive.
In the subject of Efe, he took a bad tumble, got up, won the tackle in the box and cleared from which we went up the park and Griff shot was save by keepers leg.
He does a lot of good things too you know.
Pity we’re not more goals to the good.
DU playing a damage limitation style early on…not surprising really.
Some good stuff from us although DU have been poor.
Decent saves but perhaps gave keeper a bigger look at the ball than we should.
The pen? Just stupid, not only the challenge but dealing with the whole sequence of play leading up to it.
Tidy neat performances from everybody really, without anyone being really hot.

Not an Ambrose hater but how many chances does this guy need how many costly lapses in concentration will we have to put up with.
I had to agree with those B*&$£%s on Snyde but I cant argue the case for Effe.
Does anyone know if Darnell Fisher is injured?
Some great attacking play there and actually think we looked pretty solid for a good 35 mins. Most annoying thing is that DU deserve absolutely hee haw out of that half but we gave them an opportunity.
Kill them off in the second half please. Convert some of the great play into more goals.

I think it’s more that some people hate him so much they cannot bear not to be abusing him.
In fact I think there were a couple of fannies on here having palpitations that he was plying well.
We should score another two goals in the second half. Efe header from Stokes corner would be nice.

Maybe some fans just like the club to miss out on 20 million war-chests.

Right!, 4 or 5 times commons telling him tae make runs ahead of him, kc no happy.
One of the criticisms of Celtic over the last few years was were not testing the opposition goalie enough, not getting enough shots on target. Now we are getting the shots on target and still not scoring enough.
Our defense actually looked ok until we actually had to defend.,,,,
Up until then, we looked surprisingly comfortable.

I’ve been saying for2/3 seasons now that we are crying out for a playmaker. As TET has stated, there are a glut of Spanish mids who would jump at the chance of joining Celtic. Do we have scouts in Spain?
