BAYERN MUNICH are lining up a stunning THIRD raid on Celtic’s top prospects.

The German giants have already swooped for Hoops kids Liam Morrison and Barry Hepburn in recent years.

Now they have set their sights on 17-year-old Rocco Vata who made his first-team debut as a late substitute in the 4-0 win over Hibs at Easter Road in midweek.

ON THE BALL…Rocco Vata in action in his Celtic debut in the 4-0 win over Hibs at Easter Road.

The attacking midfielder, son of former Parkhead star Rudi, is on the former European Cup kings’ wanted list, according to German Twitter site Bayernstrikes.

They also claim Vata is being tracked by another Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund, while Italian clubs AC Milan and AS Roma and Spanish cracks Atletico Madrid are also following the development of the highly-rated youngster.

Vata is under contract at the champions until June 2024 and the club will do their utmost to resist their top youngsters being cherrypicked by European opposition.

Central defender Morrison joined the Munich club 2019 and is currently playing in their reserves. Winger Hepburn signed last summer.

LIVERPOOL-BOUND…Ben Doak about to quit Celtic for the Anfield club earlier this year.

Ben Doak was snatched by Liverpool earlier this year and the 17-year-old winger made his debut as a late substitute in the 3-1 win over Aston Villa earlier this week.

The Hoops will received a paltry £600,000 in a UEFA-determined cross-border development fee for the kid who is already a Scotland Under-21 international.

Manchester City swooped for 16-year-old midfielder Josh Adam last year and 17-year-old keeper Vincent Angelini, grandson of Celtic legend Davie Hay, joined Watford in the summer of 2021.
