FORMER Celtic midfielder Liam Miller, 33, has joined Cork City.
The 21-times capped Republic of Ireland star quit the Hoops for Manchester United in a Bosman deal in 2004.
However, he only made nine league appearances for the Old Trafford outfit and spent season 2005/06 on loan at Leeds United.
He had three years at Sunderland and a short spell at Queens Park Rangers before returning to Scotland with Hibs.
Miller left Easter Road in 2011 and to spend three-and-a-half years in Australia’s A-League with Brisbane Roar, Perth Glory and Melbourne City.
He said: “I am delighted to be returning home.
“I will be proud to wear the Cork City jersey and do what I can for the team in front of all my family and friends.”
