Fantastic result from Celtic Park

757

It was a fantastic result from Celtic Park last night for Scotland’s poor who are dependent on food aid.  Fans arrived in droves before kick off with bags full of provisions to restock food banks across the region.

I can sympathise with the SPFL to an extent.  Without a sponsor, they are even more dependent on satisfying television, and satisfying television often involves making unpopular decisions, but the mess they’ve made of scheduling the final Championship fixtures of the season is deeply embarrassing for our game.

Our game is looking more and more like it’s being run like a Banana Republic.  Generalissimo Doncaster has a case to answer.

I’m pretty sure no one at Celtic considered Leigh Griffiths as their number one striker when he signed a year ago.  That he has become so, is as much a result of his forward competition failing to deliver as much as his own talents, but there’s no denying Leigh’s ability.  He’s turned into a vibrant, productive striker who scores all types of goals.

She actually went out to the local neighbouring centre we sponsor for loneliness and did a mini gig of 4 songs. Really proud of her ( and she gets to keep the cash as well :-) )

  6. Cant believe all the ‘Shock, Horror’ shit that some on here are displaying over the fixtures thing.. Where have you people been?? This is scotland.. protestant, masonic and rangers. Are you really, REALLY surprised at another push to put those cheating bastards into our top division?? Jeezus Krist, Where have you been living?? Planet Zodd?? the Moon?? I couldn’t give a shit about hearts, hibs, q o s or any other pathetic little club that has stood by and did nothing while the masonic blazers ripped the crap out of scottish professional teams in order to protect and support the masons in govan. Serves them right.. hope you suffer, because my Team did, and you stood by and did NOTHING!! ye get what you deserve.

Wouldn’t like to step on WITS toes but I hav a fancy for an orse at Ayr friday..

Tap Night .. Owned by JP, ridden by AP (last meeting in Scotland) and trained by Lucinda Russell, its come down the handicap a fair bit and for good reason but if you saw it couple of runs back at Cheltenham it was definitely eye catching and I think it has a good win in it yet. Tomorrow at Ayr (won there 3 times previously) and on good ground with the champ up looks like the day to me.. Has already been nibbled at in betting 15/2 with hills now 6/1, but 7/1 is available elsewhere.

Fine, stop greeting then and don’t complain when they have been illegally and immorally allowed to challenge us. Oh by the way.. who gave a shit about the foodbank last night?.. 19. BGX.. Sorry mate… just cant stand the gulf between us and the sfa controlled masonic institution.. I love my Club and its supporters so dearly.. I admire everythin we do, and I despair at the treatment we receive, whilst the scum of our professional game is constantly given a backdoor helping hand. went off at a rant there, so, forgive me.. cant wait till Sunday.. 90 mins away from the Cup Final.. and all achieved on merit!! Hail Hail!!

  20. got to laugh at the fixture shamozzle and how these clown manage to stay employed.Iwill stand corrected but i’m sure that 50 years ago Kilmarnock won the league beating Hearts 2-0 in the capital. On the same dat Celtic beat Dunfermline 3-2 at Hampden. In the Scottish cup final Big Billy scored the winner.Having 2 games like this on the same day beggared belief.Nothings changed eh! *the Cup Final was always played the same day as the League fixtures until April 27, 1968 when Dunfermline beat the jambos 3-1 while the deid team lost 2-3 due to a last minute winner tae the sheep for their only defeat of the season gifting us the title.

Big Jock who had declared earlier that week that he would be at Hampden for the Cup Final as all decent football fans should be marched out of the ground with his hands in the air and a big smile on his face.

2 days later we beat the cup winners 2-1 at East End Park, both captains led their trophy winning teams out that night to a rapturous applause. Pars captain Roy Barry was a Celtic minded lad.

That’s an amazing way to think in today’s wold, but that, I guess, is the reality.

It’s such a wonderful achievement. As a group, our sum is so much greater than our parts. Long may it be so.
