I’m 49. I hung about with guys from the flats and played football with a mixed crowd. Played with st Luke’s from the gorbals. I remember the Beacon pub getting opened with big Billy and John Grieg. As I said left in 76 so memories a bit hazy.

I was speaking to one of the blokes that runs the old mire bus yesterday, they leave from the inty now but I’ll prob get the chatueu bus as that’s handy and my son

Butlers is quite mixed, prob 40/60 their favour.
Mind celebrating the Broony goal in there like I’d won the lotto, my mrs (her 1st game wi me) couldnt believe the change in me. And the fact that the growlers never bothered me in the slightest disturbed her further. But thats as far as it goes, I never had any probs watchin a OF game in there, and everyone knew who I supported.
