We have probably done deidco a wee bit of a turn today in terms of taking points off one of their rivals for the runners up spot, but of course they wont see it that way, moaning face gits…

I cant get that tune out of my head and I’m absolutely loving it.
The referees see themselves as untouchable it’s just another one of the institutions in Scotland so steeped in self interest, that progress and improvement are thwarted.
The promotion of Dallas’s son is one that needs public examination.
Clarity, exposure in selection processes would be a good start. Publication of the match reports would be another.

The referee could have ignored the penalty claim and disallowed the goal for being offside.

In the interests of balance it’s maybe worth remembering that the first Celtic goal should never have been given.

Why? The rules state he’s not offside if not interfering with play, so…
What? Has the Championship been devalued? BBC Scotland would appear to think so. I wonder why?

It was a stonewall penalty, I think Beatin let it go and never in a million years thought wee Jamesey would have tucked it away to then give offside would be pretty foolish… I don’t really care as Celtic won, just offering my slant on it….

If he’s biased against Celtic to the extent being suggested he ignores the penalty claim and rules the goal offside.
That’s my point.
His performance was incompetent rather than biased.

Short of putting a blindfold on the keeper I don’t think he could have done any more to interfere with play.

Don’t know how many lists I’ve read here saying Brooney, Wee James & O’Connell should be punted. Where are these experts now, are they hiding or are they on here rejoicing in our win. Thankfully I rarely remember what I say myself never mind what anyone else says, so I am not calling out anyone in particular .
The point I am labouring to make is that when a new Boss comes in, all bets are off. Different players react differently to different Managers. Positioning, tactics & on field instructions also play a huge part.
Some may flourish under Brendan, some may go backwards but everyone should start with a clean sheet.
I would also mention that we are Celtic and are always one game away from disaster, a defeat on Wed. & I guarantee you that this place will be full of guys telling us that Brendan & half the playing staff should GTF.

Do you still think another Centre Half to be a priority?
A midfield enforcer & a striker would be my priorities.
