Scott Sinclair making sure he stayed onside in the run up to his goal, was very impressive.

Big Cup Winners is right about Dallas the younger’s swift rise through ref ranks. Four years ago, he was the fourth official at the Junior Cup Final. Less than two years later , he was a fourth official at premier league games and the ref in second tier games.
The weekend of the infamous non- hand ball gamr against Caley, he reffed a game on the Saturdy , was one of the officials at our semi final then two days layer, reffed the Livi v Hibs match. He must have been paid about a grand for being an official in three games over four days.

Spot on sir…some of the comments on here during the game fill me with despair…
I really don’t mind guys criticising a player’s particular performance but there are some who seem to decide to pick on a player and see only negative aspects of his game…and it’s the usual suspects. Efe, wee James, C Mc G, Craig G, Stefan J…and then the cliches–too lightweight, too greedy, not trying, coward. etc. etc…and a lot of these guys post during the game and then disappear till the next one…btw I thought Armstrong was crap today…seriously, too lightweight, canny tackle…
Watching Jozo tackle last year it was obvious he was protecting an injury. It is easy to mistake being wary of an injury and not having heart or motivation. I will judge him on his return to fitness.
Would be delighted to see James sign on. We have 3 decent wide men now. I expect Paddy and Scott to be first picks for the berths but I will be greedy in hoping it is someone as good as James who can deputise for either winger as Nesbitt and GMS are a level below- maybe Calvin Miller will be the real deal by the end of the season.
Everyone else played on right or left wing – McGregor, Christie, Armstrong- are not coping there as they are central midfielders.
I would like a good defensive midfielder to challenge and replace either Brown, Bitton, Johansen, McGregor or Ajer but I have no idea as to who to recommend for the job.
Get some of your partner’s writings back on here. She is far better than 99.9% of us and some posters were commenting that they had not read any of her stuff- they are missing out.

Not that theres anything wrong with a footballer being unable to make sensible decisions about their career – there are plenty of clever people out there who’d trade their intellect for the talent to play regularly for Celtic – but it wouldn’t be a great surprise if he wasn’t the one turning down contracts and someone was “advising” him poorly
I might be wrong though

The two bosses had a magic time, (for me it’s overrated) I was just was just the eijit that paid the bills…. It’s great the 3 of us being away but in truth after about 5 days it’s home time for me, my young niece and two sisters have had the wee yin every day since we have been home…….on our very last night the good lady says I love this life I could stay here, wee yin replies…. “Your on your own me and ma dad are missing all the family, even the rain” the apple never falls far from the tree…..one of the nights we watched the big cruise ship going by about 1am in the morning and I told her that was the ship you were on, when going about the islands, she asked if you owned it, I told her I would find out when I go back to work :-)
I wasn’t being serious about Jozo no being interested, but if he was playing with an injury, he and the coach should be shot for risking him, you can’t play pro football if you are not 100% fit, you can very often do yourself more harm as happened.
Calvin Millar excites me big time, for one so young he seems to have it all, strong, has pace, vision, can see a pass, tackle, good at taking player4s on, very decent crosser and to top the lot he can score goals.
As for the wifes writing, the finishing touches are being done to a kids book, set in Aberdeen, it’s superb imo.
Her book is being re done and another book sort of added to it, the sequel merging with the original, it’s even better.

Only a few weeks to fend off serious bidders who could get him for nada in January?
I reckon he’ll sign up for Celtic.
Thought we were very good first half but 2nd half hearts came into it and Craig Gordon did his job well.
