  1. Broonie has improved a lot in the last few weeks, he looks fit and hungry. Lets hope the arrival of the mouthpiece has kicked him into gear.

Can anyone explain why The Ragers are above Aberdeen according to BBC league table?

    ———

If goal difference is equal it does on goals scored so Sevco are above them.

Maybe Broony being fit is a help, and not trying to do others job, BR himself has praised Broony and also said signing Kolo will help Scott…. maybe some of you Cqn 5 @ siders need a bit of experience it will certainly not hinder Broony

  6. Scott Brown has an immense 1st half.

After HT reshuffle by the Fertz he was neutralized a wee bit, but never hid at all.

Another player who has been energized by BR.

In his pots match interview, James Forrest commented that BR had brought a lot of positivity back to the players.

  7. Celtic did well today to win despite attempts to change the course of the game through honest mistakes.

Brown looks as if he’s finding form and Dembele put in a real shift today. A real decent signing in my book. My criticism at the moment is that himself and Griffiths aren’t quite clicking and both are inclined to shoot when a pass may be the more astute option.

That aside, we look promising and Kolo could well be out most important signing in years.

Caught one of your posts and if anything family wise we never count our chickens but hope n pray you and yours are over the worst….

On a much lighter note I really think Brendan is on the right road, more than positive it’s not the wrong road :-)

  9. Not read back tonight, but delighted with the result. Forrest, Broony, Toure, Oconnell, and Tierney all done brilliantly.

Thought that Rodgers was very cute after the game by stating in public that the ref admitted he made an error. Very very smart.

Quite pleased that Rodgers also slapped down the complete twat that is Robbie Neilson…….

New man at the helm in bbc newsroom…not a sporty type…thinks too much time devoted to football non-stories and silly features. So, no more Killie pies items or daft Thistle mascot stories, nor stupid bread wrapper hats etc…david currie must be concerned…

Commentator on Sportscene, “penalty to Hearts Kieran Tierney got the same against Astanta” :-) :-) :-)

Enjoy their pain it will last for decades

  13. Was tempted to look in on vid of yesterday’s SPFL debut by the newcomers.

Hamilton’s goal was a very, very good finish by Crawford.

The King Dome was quieter than a junior reserve game before that goal.

The hi tech pitch side moving advertising device was surprisingly low light. Almost unreadable, that is until..

I saw that one of the advertisers was PUMA.

Been moaning on these pages for years, wanting a manager to change formations during a game, thanks BR, loved the reaction at FT from the team, the new guys get us….

I note there is going to be a programme on BBC1 ‘what has happened to Scottisn Football’ ….. Tell them to phone me….. I’ll tell them what has happened to Scottish football..

I wonder how many people said ‘What the fcuk?!’ When Rogic came on for O’Connell

    Great tactical move

Been that long since we had manager try anythin like that everyone was totally confused

Sport scene trying their best not to call the heats player a cheat ….. Pathetic ……..

Today was a good win, thanks Celts. Scott, you were terrific this afternoon. Well done again.

Barton is nothing more than a centre-circle prowler and in Scotland that’s nothing. Might as well be the guy who chalks the lines, Joey.

    Celtic forever.

Can someone post the words to the Brendan Rodgers song, please

  20. Good performance and great win.

Loving our more direct, speedier style. Great to see the manager change tactics during the game.

Brown is like a new signing (!) as is James Forrest.

Toure commanding and O’Connell looks very decent too.

Both us and Hertz would have mollugated Sevco based on this weekend’s performances…

I love the way Brendan changes things at a drop of a hat (not a magic hat) keeps the players on their toes and they have to buy into his ethos, with Broony leading the way, Brendan is similar to MON, brilliant man management skills… Like your good self am delighted with his willingness to change

BR says ref apologised to hime for a mistake in giving the penalty!

All good and well, but it’s mean Jack Sht at the end of the day. He knew at the time he was cheating, and if it cost us two points, or even the win today, his empty meaningless apology wouldn’t have seen the resultant goal chalked off retrospectively. Their empty apologies are better left unsaid, IMHO.

In the interests of balance it’s maybe worth remembering that the first Celtic goal should never have been given.
