    The commentary from McCoist and Craigon was something out of Rangers TV.

     

     

    All that was missing was “Wits the refereeing doing Steven” at the disallowed goal.

    Great Gutsy and Strong performance from Celtic from a deliberately physical team who tried to bully Celtic to make up for their lack of skill.

     

     

    The result will also fuel Hibs full of confidence that they can take three points from Tynecastle in the next game. That would make things very interesting on the last day.

    Funny how when Hibs scored against us McLaren was marginally offside but the pundits said it was too good a move to rule it out ,Boyata marginally offside no mention of well taken goal but focusing on he was offside.The Bt pundits too stupid to realise that when Brendan was talking about the length of the grass it was to point out it wasn’t good for both teams and does nothing to raise the standard of Scottish football.Not really interested on how it was for ex players in their day.Wondering how we get from a team that should have been playing 80 minutes with 10 men get to be denied a goal at 0-0 each and would have been 2-0 up.Interviewer not asking anything remotely controversial of Levein.The football at Tyncastle is like setting your watch back 30 years.

    Afternoon all.

     

     

    Just passing through Corstorphine on way home.

     

     

    I feared it would be at least 4 against us when they scored ( goal disallowed looked fair enough to me) but probably turned out to be worst thing to happen to them as we were mostly really good playing all the football against a team that was allowed, inexplicably, to finish with 11. Anti-football. Bad for Eddie but three lovely goals by us. To be fair their goal was good too.

    Not for the first time this season this Celtic team have stood up to the bullies, this team are nobody’s push over, typified by three Jambos having a kick at Big Oli who got his pass off before he hit the ground:))

     

     

    Levein is a talentless muppet, lovely to hear Michael Stewart tear into him before the game, why CL gets a pass in Scotland is anybody guess??

    Good victory today, the boys could have been forgiven for taking a day off after their week away but they done the job. Legs faded towards the end but it was a job well done. Thems played football from the dark ages, thugs and hammer throwers, relying on long balls and throw ins. I thought BR might have rested a few but obviously he wanted to take away their unbeaten home record. They tried to kick us of the park but we stood up to it well and they ran out of ideas in the second half when they realised we weren’t having it. The three French boys are pure class.

    Don’t know what game ,some of our supporters watch, It’s a man’s game ,our team can be very soft , against the opposition,and the other teams know this,I thought McCoist and Craigens, comments were fair,but if your a bluenose Supporter doing commentary on Celtic Games,then you are on to hiding to nothing with some,and yes we won 3_1

    Sorry,mate. I have to disagree. Our players were blootered left right and centre,those who watched it condoned it.

     

     

    If you were playing against thugs like that,you would probably have reacted a tad. I know I would.

     

     

    Watch it again,tell me that we weren’t up against thugs and a referee who was happy to lap it up.

    As the season draws to an end and we have completed seven in a row the team in my opinion needs a fair bit of rebuilding in order to compete in Europe.Our defence is still far from solid and for me they panic when teams run at us Brendan has been magnificent in terms of Scottish football but very poor in Europe as we have suffered some real hammerings. We will certainly lose at least a couple of players over the summer and we still need to trim the squad to a more manageable size we could do with bringing in at least 3 quality players.The World cup will make it harder to sign players as many of them will wait until after it is finished before agreeing any future deals Tom Rogic being an example of that.I am already looking forward to next season and Steven Gerrard will bring added interest can he improve the lot of the Ibrokes club or will our main competition come from Aberdeen and Hibernian as it has this season ? H.H.

    In a game against the mini huns , we have two hurtin huns in the commentary box!? Forced to watch with sound down. Very disappointed in BT sport who should be a lot more professional than Sky sports in their offerings.

    Today again showed why we should use going long from the back more often. Not all of the time, but as a different option to passing the ball to death across the defence.

     

    The move that ended with Rogic blasting over the bar showed it at its best. Bain 40 yard pass wide to McGregor, control with first touch then drives into their half, pass to Moussa who back heels to Rogic. 3 passes, <10seconds from keeper to shot. If only Rogic had slipped the ball back to Moussa he would have been clean through.
