Re The Jam/Clash: It’s close but I agree with yer pal…
1. Pitch – Grass was deliberately kept long to effect Celtic passing
2. Team Levein set his team up to try and kick us off the park. Main culprits Lafferty and Naismith
3. Officials- Madden and his assistants were a discrace and allowed fouling with impunity.
4. Commentry- McCoist and Craigen anti Celtic bias was disgusting to listen to.
Scotland is a petty little country and anything we achieve is a slap in the face.

Thompson wouldn’t be the worst for the final. With him it’s all about him and he will slow the game down as much as possible which may mean penalising Motherwell rough house tactics.

It’s all about opinions – and yours is flawed lol. In my humble opinion of course.
Another opinion is that I thought Scott Brown had one of his best games for us today. Not in the footballing sense but as a captain.
Lesser mortals would have buckled and that would have weakened the team. He didn’t and knocked the stuffing out of a brutal Hearts team and in the end 3-1 flattered them.

Mibbe Craig ‘2-0’ Levein also missed the clear foul on Broonie at Lafferty’s goal. Scott Jumped to head the ball and Naismith jumped into Scott with no attempt to get the ball.
It was so obvious, I’m surprised that Madden missed it (not).

I went to an Alarm concert with Drew1967 fae this parish. Went to a Big Country gig with him too. The Fifers were better.
Great performance , but I despair for Brendan and the players as they have to put up with the amateurs who protect the spivs and boot boys who really run Scottish football. Happy birthday Paul and many happy returns. The Jam would shade it for me. Clash were a better live show but The Jam had better music. But the Stranglers were better than either of them for me.
