I think it is a difficult one. I am struggling to remember when they ever did have a good relationship with the support other than immediately post 94 of in the MON years when they were over spending.
No credit is given by anyone in the media or the support for a really prudent path taken by the board since 2004 when the old Rangers team self destructed.
I get really frustrated personally with the lack of move to change where we play ( stuck in a wee league in Scotland with a glass ceiling that we cannot break through and which limits our real potential as a global grand ).
At a time when they have run the shop well at home they should have been out looking for how we could gain leverage and influence to improve our position in a wider context. With the supposed capability on the board that should have been a priority. I do hear belatedly there are some initiatives going on but I am not sure exactly.
I think a listen to Clyde and BBC tells you all you need to know about the agendas these folk have against our club. Destabilising everything our club tries to do is their priority. They cannot abide that OUR DAY HAS COME. This is tough for the club to cut through.
I sense that we are strong commercially but lacking in communication skills and strategy and perhaps creativity bordering on being risk averse. Having dealt with the club a couple of times I know they drive a very hard bargain. That is for sure. It is an accountant and not an impresario such as David Murray running our business. That is maybe the problem.
I wish! I doubt he’d want the hassle again, who knows?
I hope it’s David Moyes but I got no firm clues today.
I’m sure it won’t be Neil.
Paul Lambert and Alan Stubbs have both said, privately, in the past that they wouldn’t want the hassle either. Still, people change their minds every day.

I was enjoying it today. For sure. Need to make sure I sneek a look when the wife isn’t around !
Sorry for you in with the head yins.
Sounds interesting re potential new boss.
I hope we really finish it in style and with passion these next 3 games.
I thought Leigh was gutted that he didnt get a chance
to noise up the jambos after his goal because of previous yellow
Also thought EFE/Bailey/Calum were naive showing the Hearts
players some new options for throwing themselves on the turf
for next season.

Funny, when Leigh and CKR were being interviewed after the game, Leigh is telling the story of how Soutar got him booked and then he nutmegged him and scored a minute later, CKR standing next to him out of screen absolutely howling laughing!

I’m really not interested in other teams and, as I said, I’m delighted in the three points that more or less gives us five in a row. The football played by both teams today, however, was very poor. I just don’t enjoy watching players passing so poorly and belting the ball as hard as they can up the field. Even Keiran got up in it, which is most unlike him.

I thought we played no too bad the day, MacGregor scored, young Leigh should have buried his one on one, if you are not interested in other games not too sure what you rate today’s game against !
Anyhow we might enjoy better games going for 6, I don’t really care about the enjoyment I just want Celtic to win
You are excelling yourself tonight…House of Pain, Small Faces best work and now the Stranglers with the ridiculously handsome JJ . He was the best looking guy in the punk movement and had to borrow my shitty stick to fight the women off.

Both teams gave everything and put pressure on the ball. It’s a tight pitch so good football in short supply. Just enjoy the day.

There are things needing fixed internally not on the football side that if they were would do two things.
a) allow us to ride the times when we are not winning (and we have no right to win all the time) .
b) as a consequence stop the insidious media attempts to use lack of connection to fragment us even more.
We communicate from silos.
Board/Club silos.
Social media silos (with multi warhead delivery capability.
CST silos.
CSA silos
All with their own honest purpose but with no united sense of direction. Consequently we fire rockets at each other rather than those who we should be aiming at.
Almost as important as a director of football (as a role or individual) we need a Director of Communication.
We also need a rethink about who we are. A misguided (in my opinion ) perception of the ability of the support to think for itself and for each other and share those thoughts has been a huge mistake.
We no longer live in a bi polar world led by msm to their troughs.
I know we both want the best for Celtic. I want to enjoy watching us though and I felt today both teams played pretty ordinary football. I actually rate our team against Celtic teams of the past that I’ve watched and I think we’re somewhat lacking. Anyway, like you, here’s to six in a row.-:)

This has to be the aim for the board , it’s not easy I understand that, but they have to communicate with us more.
The msm informing everyone that we haven’t won the league yet.

Isn’t it awful that decent football guys are conditioned to “not want the hassle” of managing Celtic?…
We all know what the hassle actually means – bigoted, sectarian harrassment………………
…we’ve the Sleekits in the MSM – (aw guid ranjurs men)……… to thank for that,
just another part of the fabric of scoddland.
How many huns are put off managing the huns……………?
