Much as I enjoy Sevco defeats, it might be a good thing, in terms of the Championship, that they are still in the Cup and Hearts are not.

PS I have nothing to say about today`s game. Too easy for any comment of mine to be worthwhile.

listening to RD’s comments this week in the lead up to this game,, and watching him take the team (as a group) to the fans at the end …. I think he is starting to get what being at Celtic is about.
Cant read too much into today’s game… Hearts seemed to give up on trying to win when they went down to 10 men… but, in the past we have laboured in games like this …. but today we got the game done and dusted, and NB showed that he may be part of what we are missing in the middle
so no complaints at all.

I’m sure they’ll replay Common’s ‘goal’ over and over. Right?

It’s all they have left ,clutching to the coat-tails of The Celtic.
Their desperation and angst makes me smile now.

Well done Celtic and the beautiful choir at the match. had -2 -3 and -4. Made a few shackles but that “disallowed” goal cost me an extra 40 notes. can complain as we’re through. hail hail
Well if we get Sevco lets hope it is at Celtic park and we can see what they are really made of.

A comfortable win for the hoops today, that looked a tricky tie on paper at least. The sending off played a big part but who cares?? Its always nice to spank the wee huns in their own back yard.
Great to see the players interacting with the fans at the end. The fans were superb throughout the 90 minutes yet again, away days can be very special when the Bhoys earn a win like today.
I’m delighted to see guys like Efe and Nir stroll through the game today and it’s great to see Leigh and Kris getting a run out.
All in all, a good day at the office.

Well that was a bit a foregone conclusion after 7 minutes but job done.
Now a meaningless trip to play Dinamo, a wee break in Gran Canaria and 9 league matches before the L Cup semi and Cup 5th Round.
Chance to seal the league, bed in new signings and then concentrate on cup success.

Also, have to say, Efe seems to be rounding into form …. glad to see it. Something about him that I like….
admittedly, he wasn’t seriously tested today, but you can only play and beat what’s in front of you, and he did that today.

Gomis and Gollum ruined the game.
Biton should play every week.
Hope for a home draw tomorrow.

Well done Celts, everybody played their part but just a wee extra mention for Broonie. At times his passing goes askew but he is the “engine” that drives the team forward and we are poorer without him.
Hope everybody gets home safely.

With more movement ahead and a striker who can hold the ball with his back to goal Nir would be a very very dangerous weapon. His passing is precise and he can thread the needle when the opportunity arrises. No idea why he’s not been playing and should now be a regular. More game time he gets the more he’ll grow in confidence. MOM today!

A great result for us – and we took the foot off the pedal in the last 20mins or so.
Johansen is gradually becming a big player for us – 100% effort.
Liked the look of Biton and Tonev when he came on.
Gidetti not at his best today – he will be chomping at the bit for the next game.
Virgil is class
I also think that Stokesie doent always get the credit he deseves.
What I don’t fancy are the heated balls tomorrow and a trip to the Asbestos Dome (since all their cup ties are played there).
Last Celtic manager still in 4 competitions after Christmas was Neil Lennon in 2012-13. And that included staying in CL rather than parachuting into EL.
