    Welcome to Round 9. And Round 10.

     

    Yes, that’s right. As a special Hallowe’en treat ( no tricks ), we’ve decided to throw you a curve ball and give you 2 sets of fixtures this week. Same rules apply. You can’t pick a team you’ve already picked, but because we like you all so much, there’s a host of new teams for you to pick in Round 9. Don’t say we’re not good to you.

     

    The competition will be played “to the death”, until we have an outright winner, or until our last contestants are knocked down, and out. We will have as many rounds as it takes !

     

    So. Study the games, paying particular attention to kick-off dates and times. Is anyone brave enough to pick The Rangers. Does anyone dare pick Lazio !!!

    So despite having a wage bill that completely dwarfes every other club in the country bar one [celtic]

     

    Sevco have just reached their first final in over three seasons [that’s their 7th attempt since losing to hibs in 2016 scots cup final].

     

    Meanwhile Celtic have reached EVERY domestic final and indeed won every cup competition .

     

     

    Excuses perhaps could be made if Sevco had been runners up more often but surely going 0/9 for the past 3 seasons domestic titles and only now setting up the first meeting with their dominant glasgow rivals despite having a wage bill and spending power of all the other teams combined is a shocking statistic.

     

    It is of course painted out today as a success story.

    The refs have stopped booking him, continually barging and fouling and if not a yellow for some challenges does persistent fouling not come into play

     

     

    The cheats with whistles & flags are trying their best but hopefully even that won’t help them on 8th December

    Penalty controversy… conschmoversy… it was ever thus. Sometimes I think the refs just can’t help themselves in the heat of the incident. It’s their team, they act accordingly.

     

    What I am noticing is different this season is, to my mind, a clear, planned, concerted, and sinister effort to not book any Sevco players in general, and in particular, not to blemish Fat Charlie’s game in any way.

     

    To illustrate, today we have Cheatin John jumping in to pull Morelos away from a wee spat, that would normally have the indisciplined oaf lashing out and getting sent off. It is not the role of the referee, in a game of Association Football, to physically shield a hotheaded imbecile from the consequences of his own primitive excesses. It is the job of the referee to closely observe the game, and take appropriate action, when the rules are broken.

     

    I don’t know if this leniency towards Sevco players, is to save them from suspensions that they regard as costly to their title “hopes”, or it is to help Sevco raise some much needed cash for the much maligned Morelos, by showing to potential buyers how he has tamed his violent tendencies.

     

    I just know I am witnessing something underhand and sleekit

    The Melbourne Cup is massive in horse racing, usually on here around 4.20am in the morning before the internet I had to wait on ceefax.. love the Melbourne Cup

    As for the refs & Huns cheating is in their DNA … this is the reason we should enjoy every single Celtic success good v evil :-) :-) sometimes the good guys don’t win (Cluj & Livvy) but overall we reside in terrific Celtic times 🍀

Scott Brown while playing for Celtic is at his work he gets enough grief without giving idiots more ammunition don’t think any football player should be “calling the racists/bigots” out.. think we have other people who get paid for things like this (MPs ?) and not footballers who get paid to play football

    Peter Lawell & the Celtic board have been complicit in giving us 8 @ row, Brendan Rodgers, treble trebles and 30 domestic cup victories on the bounce with a few euro excursions and a trip to Rome on Thursday where we can cement our place in the knockout stages of European football for many of a season … see that pesky Lawell & his board … Forster, Elyounoussi, Edouard … they are conspiring to make us rubbish :-)
