    Away to watch the game again, just remembered Calmac (CMG for Art of War) scored and had a great game but didn’t even think of him when selecting Jobo’s top 3…. surely that’s a good sign about our team :-)

    Another good day watching the Famous Glasgow Celtic yesterday.

     

     

    We could have scored at least 8, but 5 will do. Thought my 4-1 was coming in.😒 5 goals in a semi final must mean we are doing something right.

     

     

    Mon the Hertz, although I cannot stand them I would rather have them in final than Sevco.

    Another great win yesterday and another final! Noticed during commentary in the second half how Celtic were ‘given a big break’ with the offside goal, no mention of the stonewall penalty we didn’t get. Now I see the ‘official’ SPFL highlights removed the penalty incident entirely so you see Celtic get ALL the breaks just in time for today’s honest mistakes in favour of ahem one team….

    The (non) penalty was at 0-0 that’s the important part of it being a major decision, the offside goal which was offside we were already ahead, two wrongs don’t make a right but the first wrong could have been far more crucial

     

     

    We are in another final “despite” the officials not because of them

    The list of ‘stonewallers’ are racking up to worrying levels……..against Livi,Kilmarnock,Ross co,two at Hibs and yesterday as examples that I can think of and i’m sure there are more.

     

     

    ABC needs to be highlighted as much as possible starting with our club being vocal on this each and every occasion it occurs……..especially when we are winning.

    Last week someone posted last seasons penalties awareded , i’ve added the finishing position in the penalty award table alongside the actual league table position.

     

     

    Celtic 1 – 6

     

    Newco 2 – 1

     

    Kilmarnock 3 – 3

     

    Aberdeen 4 – 2

     

    Hibs 5 – 7

     

    Hearts 6 – 4

     

    St Johnstone 7 – 5

     

    Motherwell 8 – 8

     

    Livingston 9 -11

     

    Hamilton 10 – 9

     

    St Mirren 11 – 10

     

    Dundee 12 -12

     

     

    On a season long sample size there should be a rough correlation between teams attacking and penalties awarded.

     

     

    Teams who are getting beaten regularly are defending more than attacking….and finishing lower down the table.

     

     

    Looking at the data…

     

     

    3 teams finish in same position in both league and penalty tables

     

     

    3 teams finish with a 1 place differential.

     

     

    5 teams finish with a 2 place differential

     

     

    We are the anomaly…..

     

     

    We won the league but finished 6th in penalties awarded !!!

     

     

    A good few years ago we managed 14 or 15 months without a penalty. I think Richard Gordon on Radio Scotland was first mainstream journalist to discuss it.

     

    They couldn’t call it out for what it was, they however discussed how incredible it was. Once it became a discussion in MSM the penalties came in a rush…. i vaguely remember three in the following 4 or 5 games.

     

     

    If we want to make some impact on what is happening it needs to become a mainstream discussion topic again.

     

    Once the light is shone on the ‘honest mistakes’ by radio, tv and press the MIB’s get a little nervous…..

     

     

    This should be the second most discussed topic after Resolution 12.

     

     

    Will probably result in another ref strike : )

    Are Celtic playing to a different set of penalty rules to everybody else, whether we’re refereed by Kevin (Timmy Name) Clancy or Bobby (Staunch) Madden SFA mibbery is a feature of watching Celtic.

     

     

    Let’s face it Madden was caught by BT Sport looking straight at another penalty he couldn’t call, despite his providing guidelines for the Scottish Sports press in August, on how ‘the new’ handball interpretation would work.

     

     

    Yesterday’s handball is handball wasn’t even debatable, even more so now that the rules have been defined to include, intention or not. Celtic have a duty of care to write another nice letter to the SFA, we should be told why penalties that everybody including match officials see aren’t being awarded, fans make it 5 so far this season, in essence half the games we play we don’t get a penalty when we should have.

     

     

    No better time than when you win and take just 43 seconds to right the latest injustice, Bobby Madden the best of a bad lot? Scotland’s number one whistler? giving chapter and verse to SMSM about ‘the penalty rules’ and in particular how there would be more this season.

     

     

    Anybody but Celtic, did we just witness cheating yesterday at Hampden?
