I wish posters would lay off Craig Gordon, he he makes mistakes as all the players do.
Brendan has asked him to play a different role which he has been taking time to adapt too.
Other teams he played for had usually a brick wall defensively in front of him, he doesn’t have that luxury playing for us with 2 attacking wingbacks.
He in my eyes is up with the best we’ve had in my time following Celtic.
It’s a team game afterall.

You just beat me to it. Agree 100%
Have to add David Marshall gave the finest Celtic goalkeeping performance I have ever seen. It’s a pity we weren’t more understanding of his youth in a way we are with outfield players.
Today’s game…..
1) Funnily enough i was praising CG today for his handling and taking of cross balls ( not his strongest point) and then of course came his clanger lol
2) I didn’t see much in the Hibs team today. I thought they were quite defensive and more passive than at CP. Until they got their first goal, not impressed. Their overall play did not deserve a point share. Not the second best team in Scotland I’d say.
3) Amazed at the criticism of CalMac. I thought him head and shoulders our best player first half and the first 20 mins of the second.

I’m not criticising CG for his late fumble- all players make mistakes….and I don’t think he should be criticised for his passing either but I want a Celtic keeper that if he gets ten shots rattled at him in a game he saves most of them.
His ‘ nothing to do with me ‘ pash after the PSG game – he actually said their goals went right in at the corner (???)- WTF does that mean? Are the goals too big?
Still, as long as big Craig is happy on and off the park then who cares about anyone else.
Anyway while I’m on this is my take on John McGinn–
When he was leaving St Mirren if he went to a Scottish club it would cost that club £200k.
I believe Celtic indirectly paid St Mirren so the bhoy wouldn’t go to England. So, if next month Watford ( just say ) offered Hibs £5m then PL would be the first phone call that Hibs would make and the player would, if BR gave the thumbs up, he would sign for Celtic for a bit less.

My annus horribilis continues apace.
Prayers requested for the repose of the soul of my sister-in-law Alison who passed away in her sleep this morning.
At 50 years old Alison had fought bravely against a disease, which left her unable to breath without assistance, for a number of years.
Last year she was cruelly rejected for a transplant at the last minute and that hit us all hard.
We knew it was then a matter of time but she fought, by god she fought, but with humour and grace not anger at her lot.
I will miss her humour, her smile and her defiance not to submit to her condition.
God bless and keep you Alison. Xxx

I think the very next game was at Ibrox and I recall two quite stunning saves.
My point really was that you have to nurture such natural talent but so much more understanding needed in such an exposed position as goalkeeper. Maybe as supporters we wouldn’t have been prepared to cut him slack?
