Neg Anon – after a disastrous early season, I now can’t really see anyone stretching this young Celtic team and they need to keep learning if they are to achieve any kind of progress in Europe next season.

Some fantastic young players being gradually developed, but they need a couple of CL ‘auld hauns’ to bring them on.

I’m sure Lenny knows this and I’m hopeful for the summer.

  4. Amadeus – think its best for you that you drop the Huns not in administration thingy – doesn’t make you look too good

With or without the ten point deduction Celtic were heading for a ten point lead before Rangers travelled to Inverness next weekend. And that was based on them beating Kilmarnock yesterday. Terrific performance by both players and supporters today, and special mention to Neil, Alan, Johan et al for keeping focussed during an historic week.

Save some of those meds for me….!

No way did I see that score coming either.

Actually feel sorry for Pat Fenlon.

If we keep winning and rangers drop just 2pts more we can win the league at Ibrox. No pressure on the Huns then…

  9. What a job Our Lenny has done. Hungry, youthful, skilful palyers playing the Celtic way.

Now, let’s get that siver in the trophy room, and then we can turn to Europe. Also, what a support we have. It’s laughable the hun trying to copy us.

  10. googybhoy,

click the link underneath where it says ‘view full table’ and you will see it’s been updated.

  11. I don’t know about the TV commentators,

but what disgusting tones and comments on BBC esp. main man Begg,

never 5-0 in it, shouting for a Yellow for Brown even before Ref had thought about it,

5 mins later never a Yellow for Stevenson on Brown, result only because Hibs so poor, etc etc

Richard G struggling to talk about it,… at half-time ChYoung wanting enquiry Stokes elbow…even down to asking Fenlon at the end to stir it who to his credit made no issue…

what about this even handed statement on BBC web tweets comment from a guy from Edinburgh…

“I am at Easter Road and am quite disturbed by the mood of the Celtic fans – I know they haven’t won a lot in recent years but am surprised they are celebrating so wildly when financial circumstances, rather than football ones, have handed them the title!” ,

Nice to know it does not bother them!

  12. its far too easy at the minute to declare this team will do something in europe e.t.c.

    seen it all before.

europe comes the next year and gulf in class between us and our opponents is huge.

just enjoy they way we are playing without expecting anything much europe wise.then we might get a nice surprise next season….unfortunately the SPL is easily the worst topflight european league out there, its hard to judge ourselves against this rubbish week in week out

  13. Discount the 10 point deduction – Celtic have just completed an amazing 22 point turn around – from 15 behind to 7 in front – add the 10 point deduction = 17 points. why aren’t the media reporting this – points deducted “we don’t need your stikin’ deducted points “

  17. TTTT – yes what we really need now is Celtic to continue to invest in the team (without of course compromising our financial position)

The future looks v bright for Celtic

Wee Pat is a good bloke, I don’t want to see them going down, the fife huns for me.

Hibs are a poor side though, he really doesn’t have much to work with, in saying that, not many teams could have lived with us at times today.

With regards to the bbc table that’s not updated, thats just a Tim working at the bbc showing that we don’t need the ten points took off them to win the league.

  22. It’s written in the stars that we’ll win it there,,,and I’m sure they’ll do some walking away that day as we party in th big hoose!

Police say a missile was thrown towards the ref at ibrox yesterday, believed to be a pound coin, they don’t know if it was assault or a takeover bid
