I doubt that Christopher Jullien was included in our Europa League squad is an indication that he will appear in a Celtic shirt near you anytime soon. The final group game is three months away, a timeframe that is more likely for Chris to be ready for European action.
The player was a crucial addition to the team that won our ninth successive title, performing memorably heroics in that season’s Europa League group. His goal in the League Cup Final that season resulted in one of the sweetest Hampden moments in a clutch of several in recent seasons. You will recall, though, that his early season form in the summers of 2019 and 2020 was far from his best. He is a player who takes a month longer to get up to match fitness than others.
Having not kicked a ball since December, the work required to get him back to his peak will be considerable. It will do him no favours to force him into a level of competition he is not ready for.
I was delighted to hear Bolton Wanderers agreed a CVA with creditors two years after going into administration. Chairwoman Sharon Brittan said; “After a very challenging two years we are absolutely delighted to confirm that the Club has reached agreement with its unsecured creditors.
“This ensures that we have met our obligations, satisfied the EFL requirements and are therefore free of any embargoes and penalties.”
Bolton faced a number of winding-up orders but clung to survival long enough to meet creditors’ requirements. It is remarkable how few football clubs actually go to the wall, most fans find a way to pay creditors and keep their linage intact.

Good results for Éire and Alba. Give Stephen Kenny more time and I think he will come good.
Great result for us.Who’d a thunk it.
Juranovic played all 90 minutes of Croatia’s 3-0 win over Slovenia. I like him more and more, the more I watch him.
I thot that Jack Hendry was superb tonight.
CalMac MOM for me
Boyd just said Bbbbbbiiiilllyyyyy Gilmour was brilliant- I’m still not sure the guy was playing
Great result for Scotland. Have to say I didn’t expect it after their recent performances.
Still not too keen on them going to Qatar; certainly not the Celtic players.
Any news on Kyogo?
Quite a few see you next Tuesdays in the austria team so girut

1854. Andrew Kerins would be 14 at the time, and come to scotland a year later, on a coal boat from sligo harbour.
this is the world he was born into. starvation of the people by the government, it didnt last for the years of the great hunger, it went on for 60 years.

Hanley, Henry, and Tierney were the defensive rock that result was achieved by
Now I have the crap about BG out of my system- that was a very good display by Scotland
Defence was solid – all of them
CalMac and McGinn – ground and created
Dykes and Adams always a worry for Austria and available for an outball
Christie – excellent when he came on
Craig – one match changing save 👍
Sort Israel at Hampden
Only black mark tonight was the number of times the commentator mentioned Rangers, and not a Gers player in sight.
described as “an irishman” racist bastards,

Good performances from our “Celtic” contingent….
Gordon, Tierney, McGregor, Hendry and Christie
K.T Stamped his authority from Min one erz yer difference……
craig gordon is a great goalkeeper,
big huge big mistake letting him go last year,
Bit early but I think juranovic could the ball winner in the midfield, has a bit of dig.
Wasted at full back..
In my opinion of course..

Thanks goodness you said that, thought it was just me😱
With only 3 games to go, trailing 9 points behind Serbia, and with a relative goal difference deficit of 8, the Republic are, for all intents and purposes, out of the next World Cup. They were always my alternative team to follow when Scoddland didn’t make it. It’s maybe just as well, as Qatar will be a lot worse than Florida in 1994, when Jack Charlton’s team really struggled in enervating heat and stifling humidity.
Scotland tartan army fans getting their covid pass ready for Qatar
Not for me, not even on the gogglebox, stench of corruption too much
buona notte
Well done Alba, der hun is sick tonight and so is Austria.
@ Celtic Mac…Aye wiznae so long ago that all the monkeys were for the good of the national team…
Where are they now?????…How does their whole squad fit that with that scenario???
I haven’t seen any post saying that Gilmore was crap, but never let opinions get in the way of reality.
HeadshakesCSC
Do you have to have a licence to watch bbc i player????
erm askin for a neighbour…..

Should never have been given to Quatar for the summer of 2022, but the brown envelopes arrived on time, after which they moved it to December when conditions will be a lot better.
FIFA corruption writ large, and now they want it every two years.

I wasn’t getting that commentary on ESPN ( I had some U.S. numpty ). I’m curious how your commentators contrived to keep mentioning The Undead. I guess one would be Gilmour ( ex-player ) , but how many times can you say that? What was the context for the other references, if I may ask?

El Presedente…
ET – I might have mentioned that Gilmour didn’t live up to his fan club opinion to night- I then said
“ Now I have the crap about BG out of my system- that was a very good display by Scotland”
I merely wanted to comment on the rest of the performance .
Cheers
CELTIC MAC
True, I forgot the move to December. Still an average 75F, pretty toasty.

I can’t speak for all the Irish fans, but from my own non Celtic friends, I would say Neil Lennon would not be considered by any of them. Roy Keane will always be too divisive a figure in Irish football.
The present manager, Stephen Kenny, has explained that he is using the WCQ as a means to build a team for the Euros in 2024. I think this is now accepted by most fans, as we are short of top class players at the moment
We were robbed against Portugal by a referee that was more interested in being the man in the middle when Ronaldo smashed the international scoring record than doing the job he is paid for.
A draw with Serbia tonight was an excellent game.
Two Irish players really stood out:
Goalkeeper, Gavin Bazunu and
Right-sided defender: Chiedozie Ogbene.
Football is our third if not fourth game and the conveyor belt of players from the EP has slowed down somewhat.
Very entertaining over the last three games.
Anyway, back to the Celts at the weekend.
Hail, Hail.

I must have missed that, obviously I did, I said he was pish, not quite crap but getting there >:)
I noticed at one point he gave the ball away three times in a row, two were passes shorter than ten yards FFS, but he is a future hero cos he is a hun.
HH
Gilmour was crap btw😀😀
Kenny Out
Crockers got history …Ref monkeys …
One game he was chewin the cud …No team was from scotland… was playin
Quite a while ago…… 29 sec in he mentions Rankers….
That a throw in was the longest known….Go Figure….
The interesting thing from a ‘commercial’ standpoint is that Boyd was the only pundit who singled out Gilmour for praise………..mmmmmm………..any links to Agents?
