Killie dividend for torturous ESPN attacks

1056

It is very good news that Kilmarnock fans have voted to give Celtic three stands for next weekend’s game which will see the league title won if Celtic earn a point.  As a result, several thousand more Celtic fans will be able to attend the game and avoid listening to their club being belittled as they watch ESPN.

I hope Neil Lennon continues to speak in forthright terms when his team is undermined.

Just watching SSN at the mo,wi a prick who thought that a good question in a rare interview was-so Brian, why are you so good?

    Here’s a suggestion,ya twit. How about-so Brian,did you pay all your taxes?

Apologies for the spelling mistake-AWE NAW is on,after all-in the four-letter word which started and finished in a “t”

I promise not to make the same mistake when I start a word with a “c”

  3. Has anyone seen what has happened to GAME?

Went into admin, ran by PWC, slashed staff costs the next day and now a week later have sold the whole lot off.

D&P are doing a fabulous job driving Rangers to liquidation….

I agree Annoni, I think alot of our supporters think that they (them) can wriggle out of everything because thats what they do, I can understand this feeling but I think this Is just too big for them to do that, the SFA, SPL and the MSM will all try and cover it up, It’s what they do and have always done but what with excellent forums like this, RTC and others where we can spread the word it makes the job harder for the above, infact almost Impossible, If this had happened before the great invention of the Internet and all we had for news was the MSM then I doubt they’d even have got into administration.

  5. It may be impossible for a Newco to ‘inherit’ the trophies of RFC. Our friend Hector along with a veritable plethora of other creditors would be over them like a proverbial rash so they would be back to being up to their knees in merde rather than blood. A Newco means that a new company – no history ‘Nada’. They can claim all they want but the record books will record Newco FC established 2012 – League titles 0 and so on.

  6. Lads i always thot they would go into admin. But that to me was to give everyone a chance to rig the set up in favour of thems. I pray i am wrong but i just cant see it.

Now that´s more credible but I dont see that happening either

Unless of course Newco is prepared to compensate for the loss of lots of things to a lot of other parties and then UEFA will step in.

As a Celtic shareholder insured to my back teeth (i.e no lawyers fees) you can can count me as being one of those for sure.

    On club licensing

I never expected the club license rule to be applied when I saw a licence MAY be withdrawn.

However when the rule is quite clear and as it is impossible for Rangers to meet the entry level licence criteria now, the SFA have to explain why they are not applying the rule under their power of discretion.

Quite how that looks like an unwillingness to pull the plug is their problem but they cannot pretend the rule does not exist or is not applicable now when it clearly can be applied.

Trust in the SFA is at zero and a little honesty from them on this issue might stop it going negative.

There is a straight choice here, protect the integrity of the game (which is their friggin job) or protect a club in its death throes and risk further contagion.

If Regan is not aware of whete his duty lies or the duty of the SFA is not to protect the integrity of our game-OUR game-then we need to be told what the duties and responsibilities of the SFA are.

    Thanks for that.

Passed on Marine Bar to my friend earlier ( who is probably reading this ).

As a Derry Boy ,I assume he knows the geography , and can add Ballyshannon as an option.

As we all know there is big difference between a bar that shows Celtic games and a ‘Celtic Bar’.

    greatly appreciated.

    AWE NAW

Been on this since 2004,but really having to trawl for info as so little was available.

I told my mates back home even then that they were in trouble, etc etc,I’m sure other people did the same.

Point is,I too can see no way out for them.

The league needs 42 teams. If they can’t organise in time to replace themselves-and they can’t-then Gala Fairydean.Welfare,Spartans or whoever, will.

This is not,IMO,about them going into liquidation. It’s about obout oblivion.

Short of some choob of a billionaire who has forgotten how he got to be a billionaire in the first place throwing £150m down a black hole, they are gone.

And that £150m only clears the debt. No players,no training ground,no stadium.

No income stream from season tickets, merchandising, pies and programmes.

The only thing they haven’t sold off is future European income.

And the stupid b……s screwed that up too.

They are gone, mate. Put the Blue Nun in the chiller.

  11. Isn’t there a bar in Bundoran that is painted in green and white hoops?

I’m sure there used to be – it had a mad landlord.

Nice meeting you and the rest of the bhoys yesterday.

Was just saying to the better half yesterday as we walked past the school on London road that it would be a great place for a Celtic museum or something.

Do you have any idea what the club hope to do with it, and the smaller building beside the school?

Existing rules followed and reality hitting home.

  17. Do you not think the SPL/SFA will be drawing up plans now to ease a Newco back in to the SPL ?

timbhoy 2, I’m sure we already own that school, It’s a listed building so we’re limited to what we can do with It, It’s just a car park for players, legends and others on matchdays now. there was talk of doing up the land around the back of the Lisbon lion stand but not heard much about it in a while, also talk of doing something to the main stand too but that never happened either.

Auldheid. The great game of who pulls the plug has been afoot all season. Everyone is afraid to do it.

I always though that it would make a cracking school. Imagine going to that school?

I would even go to school at weekends.

Didn’t even know wee Jocky Wilson had died, some of my happiest memories are of the family all sitting watching the telly cheering him on,Jocky is what I believed being Scottish was all about, everybody united,no anti religious issues to divide, outside football I felt there were very few heroes in sport for us,Barry McGuigan,Stephen Hendry and latterly John Higgins but in my lifetime and experience wee Jocky was the original hero outside football and its very sad to know he’s gone.

Breeny, he and Andrew Ellis want to make a few million by selling any assets they can or renting Ibrox back to Newco for several million a year.
