    A good 3 points that could have easily been 5 or 6, again IMO 2 pens not given to us.

    It was nice to watch celtic with 2 players up top, good link up play, more options and targets through the middle of the pitch and more able to close down the other teams backline quicker. If going with 352, it’s got to be taylor or boli as hayes is not at it.

     

     

    tackle on jeramie was poor and not needed, showing concern after the fact means jackshite. Get well soon wee mhan, so enjoyable to watch.

     

     

    Plastic pitches are a disgrace, lost count of the amount of falls, untrue bounce of the ball, the struggle to turn and move. the spfl should outlaw then from the top league asap. Clubs taking cheap options on pitch types shows. Get ot sorted.

    Absolutely delighted with the 3 points, so so important. Well done Lenny – i think the 3-5-2 worked well. Hope wee Frimpers is ok, hearing its not too bad. Power et al allowed to kick with impunity, its on Don Robertson. If he’d been booked when he should have he doesn’t make that tackle, simple as that. Referee failed to protect players from thugs. A great result on a horrible pitch however.

     

     

    A wee story about Boyd, circa 2006, him and Charlie Adam were in a petrol station at same time as me, it was a midweek night, i think they spent £13 on sweets and crisps and left a £20 note on the counter and walked out saying ‘keep the change’. The man is a clown and should be nowhere near a job as a pundit.

    Scottish football living in the dark ages. Traditional slide tackles used to start 3-4 feet from the player in possession. The culmination of the tackle was, routinely, the leg extension leading to contact with the ball.

     

     

    The modern player is sleekit.

     

     

    The tackle regularly starts in close proximity, the ball is played, the tackling leg is then extended and follows through the player, followed by the trailing leg (which injured Frimpong) then the whole body – up to 90 kgs – at high speed.

     

     

    Civilised Football Associations have got wise to this and routinely issue red cards, regardless if the ball is played.

     

     

    Obviously the SFA haven’t.

    I thought about the young hearts player & the media reaction to broony giving him his welcome to the game. then it dawned on me that just about every youngster that possess tremendous potential & comes through our ranks gets a potentially career ending injury, caused by an opposition player. Instead of naming the prospects who I will ask you, who hasn’t?

    That was an excellent result tonight which on paper looked to be a difficult away fixture. Great three points we now move on to Ross County on Saturday and hopefully 5 points ahead by Saturday night. Hope Frimpong makes a quick recovery.

    I had a wee glimpse of Griffiths throwing his tape into the crowd and thought nothing of it, thinking it was thrown to a young fan as a memento. Subsequently I saw a bearded fan remonstrating.

     

    Now I’m seeing some say he will get a ban for it.

     

    Has anyone seen it close up and can offer a proper perspective?
