Back-to-back away games are statistically more likely to result in points being dropped than any other games (especially if one is a European game), so the probability of Aberdeen dropping points in Inverness last night was high. Their second night-game in the same week, on Friday at Firhill, will also be a genuine challenge. I can’t find enough occurrences of a team having two away games in the same midweek to draw any statistical inference but I’m glad it’s Aberdeen’s lot, not Celtic’s.
That result felt profound. Celtic can use the opportunity of a quiet week to prep for the visit of Inverness. A Highland double would go a long way towards the title.
On the “Atlantic League” story, little detail has been reported on what’s happened (ignore what has been reported) and where it’s heading. The project is not at a mature stage yet, it’s not an Atlantic League, it’s not a collaboration of clubs from small nations, and no lower league clubs, anywhere, have been involved. Apart from that, the story’s fine.
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has kicked the sleeping dog. We’ll see where he barks.
Time is running out for you to register for the Celtic Park Zip Slide, in aid of the Foundation, which takes place next month. I did it last year and it was genuinely exhilarating. Go here and register.

Linus and Lucy ———way to go ! .
The Vince Guaraldi – Charlie Brown stuff was great (IMO ).
Monorail Records in Glasgow will sell you a great repress of his -A Charlie Brown Christmas . Highly recommended !
I’ve just watched the ICT penalty incident. It’s a clear, good old fashioned, stonewall…indirect freekick inside the box, which ICT would have certainly despatched with aplomb.
Aplomb!
Apart from that, the story’s fine.

I’d be in favour of any change which allows us to expand and grow as a club – we have been the victim of geographic constraint for too long now.
Kristoffer Ajer is signing today – we shouldn’t have to be worrying about him being so successful that we HAVE to sell him for a huge profit before the end of his deal.
Onwards and upwards.

No lower league clubs involved dooms it to failure.
I predict Armageddon.
You heard it here first.

You’re wee night with Golum the other week worked wonders thought he gave Inverness all the major decisions.

I’ve often wondered, what is a ‘plomb’?

Plomb is lead in French (as in the metal). Therefore, it is my belief that aplomb means to do something with a big bit of lead.

Where in the Atlantic would they play?
aplomb (n.)
“assurance, confidence,” 1828, from French aplomb (16c.), literally “perpendicularity,” from phrase à plomb “poised upright, balanced,” literally “on the plumb line,” from Latin plumbum “(the metal) lead” (see plumb (n.)), of which the weight at the end of the line was made.
Can Willie Collum swim?
I posted on here 3 days ago saying the new proposed champions league format was an opportunity for us to get out and form some sort of Atlantic League
2 days later the Record has a headline about it
They are reading the blog!
Good Afternoon.
Anyone fancy a trip into space with Mark Warburton…?
https://theclumpany.wordpress.com/2016/02/16/mark-warburtons-mission-to-pluto/
James Forrest : Contract up, and seemingly uninterested
Commons : recovering from injury
GMS : decidingly Dundee Utd in standard
Armstrong. : could do with a rest.
All of which, should result in the inclusion of Christie, Roberts, and Rogic for this Saturday’s game.

It’s neither here nor there!
After a decade or so, finally, the Daily Record is very upset with Golum.
What, Keith? What’s that? – you don’t understand how these things ‘even themselves out’?
Well at least you expressed your mood in your opinion piece:
All work and no play makes Kieth a dull boy. All work and. No play. Makes Kieth a dull. Boy all work and no. Play makes ‘Kieth a’ dull boy all work. And no play makes Kieth a dull boy all work. And no play makes. Kieth a dull boy all work. And no. Play makes Kieth.
A dull.
Boy all work and no play makes. Kietha dulol, boy all, work. And no play makes. Kieth a dull, boy all work. And NO play, makes. Kieth a dull boy all work…
Is it a bird, is it a plane, is it the big hoose?

If we’re going into the Atlantic League, then surely the Huns would be in the Atlantis League?
