6 hours ago we were assured that there was no chance of Celtic signing anyone and now we have two signings.
I never rejoice at transfer window dealings because these players have done nothing for us yet. They were signed by 2/3 of the team that sanctioned the signings of the deadwood we are now getting rid of.
These players arrive with a clean slate and no pre-judgements but I fail to see how anyone can be too excited about guys who have yet to achieve with Celtic. It’s just new bling, that’s all.
Until they start to play.
Hope there is no problem with the medical.
Or maybe its just a long, err, medical.
If guys were signed a few weeks ago ,we might still be in the CL,not too difficult really.

I haven’t read back but I’ve no doubt the guys criticising the Serb signing would have been among the most vocal had we failed to sign a striker.
No doubt, the apparent cold feet, I say apparent because we simply don’t know, will grab the headlines tomorrow – as opposed to Celtic pulling off a transfer target in the closing stages of the window. Same old, same old.

He is a good player and we could do with another option in that position.
Izzy is still the same guy though…..he may not be playing as well as he can and has always had some weaknesses but i think some of us have short memories at times and just because a player is struggling…..it does not mean they are a bad player.
