If the Premiership divides into four groups:
Celtic: 8 points clear at the top with 67 games in hand.
Hearts, Newco and Aberdeen: within 2 points of each other in the battle for two Europa League games in June 2017.
St Johnstone: isolated in the middle of an 8 point bubble.
The rest: all 2 points from the automatic relegation spot.
Then Motherwell top their group. They have infinitely more to play for than Celtic at Fir Park tomorrow. For them, this is about livelihoods.
We have an early kick-off at what will be a hostile environment. Arrive with your war face on, Celtic, and get the job done.
Pretty stunning work by the Celtic commercial team, who, alone against the nation’s major retailers, were promoted by The Telegraph as one of The best Christmas 2016 adverts. A level of professionalism is beginning to envelop the club (and I know it’s not there completely yet).

Another good soundbite from Big Sutty on BT Sport when looking ahead to this weekend’s fixtures – “They’d have been better keeping Joey Barton and getting rid of Mark Warburton”.
I never tire of re-reading that Daily Record off the radar article. Thanks, Bourne.

The guy that used to take Tim the Dug to all the games was Frank Forrest fae Livingston, he used to travel on the Broxburn bus
Carlow, thanks.
When we saw Frank with Tim at games, it always made us smile.

Sincerely, thanks for that clip. A few years since I’ve seen it and the whole message that it sends out is just magnificent. Pre-judge no-one!
Tannadice is bouncing!
This quote from The Loaf is remarkable :
“We’re looking at an overseas midfield option for January. I hope we can get a dynamic, goalscoring midfielder.
“I can’t tell you who he is but what I can tell you is there are three or four other clubs in for the same player.
“He has an outstanding pedigree and we are trying to get hold of him. He is an overseas player, playing at a very high level. We hope we can get him.
“We have tried a few and they have fallen through for various reasons.
“It would be a loan deal. If it comes down to the money, we won’t get this player, so therefore we have to offer something different.”
If a Celtic manager said something like that he would be absolutely slaughtered by the press. Imagine if Ronny had said :
“I’ve identified a brilliant player that other clubs are interested in. I want him for nothing and on shit wages, but I think he’ll be tempted by a World Class Breakfast”.
Just turned to over to BT, Dundee Utd v Hibs, looks close to a full house, Hibs supporters in full voice singing about someone who apparently has a magic hat but unfortunately is a f@*ny. Armageddon days continue……..
Great crowd at Tannadice.
No bother boys, the journey to the games used to be a nightmare ha, we were never done stopping the bus to let the dug off for a pish
World class dooor DVD corridors.
Doors and Corridors **
Very healthy crowd at Tannadice for a second tier game.
Armageddon seems to have been good for Scottish football
Carlow UFB
Thanks. The blokes name on the Gallowgate bus recently was Frank but don’t think he had the sme surname.

20 minutes in – no goals, no cards and not even a corner. Looks like my 20 shilling investment won’t be yielding anything tonight! ;-)
Chris ” sloppy ” Sutton
Jeez this game is mince :o)

Just before kick off I was going to post something along the lines of these 2 teams should be back in the top flight. I then realised that I was basing that on history rather than their present standards. I’m now relieved I didn’t post! Last Saturday Partick Thistle played better than these 2.
Even the referee is worse!

Weeman ….
I’m having dinner with Scarlett Johansen tomorrow night …. but, ssshhh!!! its supposed to be a secret!
Was Scarlett played by Olivia DeHaviland,,,,,,??
Half time……………… and 45 minutes you’ll never get back
Forest 0 Newcastle Utd 1 at HT. Newcastle are down to 9 men and Forest missed 2 pens but apart from that not much happened.
Weeman …
I think you are getting Scarlett Johansen mixed up with Stefan Johansen … who sometimes played like Olivia deHaviland.
Gordon.
Yes, I was just going to post to Jobo, maybe he should have picked,Newcastle game.
Cards up already, surely more goals, not sure about corners though.
Is anyone going to bump up the new completion for Shay.
I’ve entered, ten is the magic number. The number the Huns are terrified of.
Also how do you pay?
Should read competition.

Kodi box choice, and I made the wrong match choice :o) Now if I switch over expecting a Forest come back DU-Hibs will finish 6-6
Evening all, spent today in Glasgow with the good lady, something called Xmas shopping? Thankfully I was promised a lovely meal at the end of it if I behaved myself. The good people at La Boca on Hope St did not let me down, top quality tapas, wine and beer. Also loved a wee visit to the Xmas Market and had a large mulled cider from a wee stall selling Mulled Buckie!
The owner tells me it is going down a storm.
Off to Fir Park tomorrow, here’s to a good performance and 3 points.
HH
Jimmynotpaul – not directly involved in this latest competition but I believe the ‘how to pay’ instructions will be issued soon.

Hope it wisnae the forrest captain who takes the penalties
Jobo.
Thank You.
Hopefully not sounding sycophantic, but yourself and CRC do a brilliant job on LMS.
We have one in our work with about 20 people and I know how much work is involved for the ghuy who runs it. So to do it in the scale you do is fabulous. Well done.

Keeps me off the drink! During the week, until all the picks come in;-)
First Brexit then trump now Gambia
Whit is the world coming to?
Summer sailing down here on the River Plate. Ever noticed that when you fall into the sea and are waiting to be picked up as you bobble around in your life jacket that when a piece of seaweed touches your toes you have the same reaction as if it were a great white? So embarrassing. My Uruguayan friends now call me girlie scot.
Her name was McGill and she called herself Lil, but everyone (especially the Uriguayans) knew her as ‘Nancy’ ;-)
