Lions Roar, the last giant standing, CQN Mag is out!

824

Issue 16 of CQN Magazine is out today and (in my never humble opinion) is our best yet.  We are right up to date, with coverage of the Scottish Cup final.  Phil Mac Giolla Bhain gives historical perspective on Celtic’s position as the last apex in the game.

You’ve ready plenty of great stories of how people got their tickets Seville and we bring you a very Celtic story on how one man got his.  Did you notice we’ve mentioned Willie Wallace a bit recently?  Some of the reasons why are covered by two of Scotland’s best writers, Brogan Hogan and Archie MacPherson, excerpts of their contributions to Heart of a Lion are here for you.

There are lots more great articles….. including our cover theme, The Lions Roar Again Event.  The remaining Lisbon Lions are back at Celtic Park for a Q&A and Lisbon film show, in aid of 1254125.  The first event was one of those special Celtic occasions, if you missed it, make sure you get along this time.

Opportunities like this don’t come along often.  Book your tickets for the event here, bring the family.

DON’T TRY TO READ THE MAGAZINE FROM THE GRAPHC BELOW, that is just a teaser.  For a proper read, go here.  Use the navigation buttons at the bottom to flick through pages or zoom in.

  1. CRC – well done (spot the difference when the professional is in charge).

Tonight I am throwing my boots into the terracing – I hit 65 at the start of the new season and I have got 60 years of Tic info crammed into my brain…………

…….. it’s getting harder to drag it out of the archives (quickly)!

Nevertheless – I have enjoyed the Friday night Craic.

Well done to you and ChannelIslandCelt.

My wee Ghirls were the comedy double act, I didn’t know they could do that.

Seeing as it’s quiz night, were any other CQNrs at the ABC last night to witness the amazing Todd Rundgren. Iv’e seen him 3 times now and each time he is totally different. Great gig and a top curry at Mother India efter. Sorry to bug everyone but have an application in for a priority list first ever ST and have heard not a sausage from the club. Got an email today inviting me to buy one. My application on the priority list went in at least a fortnight ago. Any advice appreciated.

  11. You may notice the CQN Fathers Day ad in the front page of the blog. Click on the red box in the middle and you will see the choice of two images for your Fathers Day card. One is Big Billy with the European Cup from the cover of CQN Magazine this month – the other is young Tony Watt scoring the winner against Barcelona.

You can then write your own individual message for your Dad’s card and this will be printed and delivered with a copy of Willie Wallace Heart of a Lion.

You have until next Wednesday evening to order this if you want. If you already have a book and just want the card – email Tony at the address on the ad.

The Fathers Day card are really cool!

  13. SkyisaLandFill, re-the season ticket, the email advertising a season ticket goes to everyone on the mailing list, I got one too, I renewed weeks ago.

Did you get an email to confirm the application?

    If not phone them.

  15. Good evening friends.

Played golf this evening (there’s an Open coming up after all) and so just finished watching my recording of the Croatia v Scotland game having avoided the result. Wouldn’t dare to suggest that wee Gordon’s Scotland played well. But to win away against the 4th best ranked country in the world is quite an achievement. So well done Scotland! Woo-hoo.
