Newcastle fans in order to try to give themselves some credibility and prestige like to stress that they are in the EPL and that Celtic although quite big are in a much less significant league. In the Newcastle press today they are reporting that Newcastle FC will not be trying to sign Victor because he has yet to prove himself at the top level. They make no mention of the fact that perhaps Victor would run a mile from signing for a club like NFC whose only ambition is to avoid relegation. Somebody should have a word with their PR team. Making such comments about Victor who is recognised across Europe as being an exceptional player, fools no one. If he leaves Celtic it will be to go to a club with real hope of success in Europe rather than one which can offer big money just because it happens to be in England.

On a break in Seville and spent yesterday in Plaza de San Francisco, it looks great but not as special as the day it was jammed packed with Celtic fans on their way to the final. Also took a shorter walk up to the Estadio Olympico de Sevilla. For those who did that walk to the stadium they will recall it was quite a walk to the edge of the city,but what a walk on the day and the anticipation was humongous.
Last couple of days the missus and I have seen more of the city and its been great, did some of the sites not done when last here for the final, the Cathedral,the Alcatraz palace
and the Basilica de la Macerena.
Great city worthy of another football final.

Great result for WGS last night. OK Croatia played below par but he had his side well disciplined and working hard. Got the tactics right and with a lot of players missing too.
I was impressed by Russell Martin playing at centre half. Good positioning and tackling and won a fair few headers too.

Gorgeous morning in Troon, my new Karcher getting a workout cleaning the drive and patio this morning. That will take me at least until lunchtime then mibbaes a bike ride later.
21st Birthday party for my niece tonight in Tarbolton Masonic Club should be a laugh, me in the Masonic Club! will be the second time in my life, first time it was like the OK Corral with the silence as I entered the public bar.
