    After our slow start in the league and 2 away defeats in europa league we are now top of the league and joint 2nd in the el section … a wee break and we go again

     

     

    On today’s game Livingstone done what they had to do and I suppose with us and them having the best defensive records in the league 0-0 might not have been such a surprise :-)

    watched livi last season against dundee utd. i think in playoffs could be wrong, i thought then as i thought today a bunch of thugs and the ref. dont know his name back then was the same as today.

     

    refs are not protecting footballing players on any team.

     

     

    there centre should have had a straight red.this is the kind of team that gets us the name pub league.

    Perfect ordering off opportunity.

     

     

    However getting head butted on the goal line in contrast is not punished.

     

     

    No wonder Motherwell manager is sent to the stand for protesting.

    12 games played and 10 points dropped from a possible 36 , our ball players TR, JF and OE etc. could not get the ball out of their feet today due to that surface , got the impression that SS didn’t fancy it today and why he wasn’t subbed is beyond me.

    I didn’t think it was a poor performance today but as against Leipzig midweek I believe the lack of quality on the bench came to the fore.

     

     

    We are very thin on the ground for replacements for Edouard, Sinclair, Rogic and Forrest.

     

     

    We have no replacement for Edouard aside from Griff who is suffering from an unknown injury/lack of fitness.

     

    A new striker is imperative.

     

     

    Then for the three behind them we have Morgan, Hayes and Johnstone. Now that Cal Mac and Christie have assumed CM roles, this leaves us very weak. Another quality winger who can play on both wings is required this January. I would also let Morgan go out on loan. He needs the game time, in the same way that Ajer and Christie required it.

    them blatant cheating is sickening to watch , the motherwell player gets booked for laughing at more or less for falling/rolling about the ground holding his leg then the same player is given a second yellow for a hand ball following a shot from them , more or less kicks out twice will on the ground but stays down holding his sore leg again to con the ref (who is a cheat ) to delay play and con ref again.

     

    they can’t hide their MIB cheating.

    Clancy fails to red card Menga and we get no advantage/justice. The likelihood is that it will go to the compliance officer and he will be banned for one to two games. Next game up for Livi – sevco. Menga will be a bad loss for Livi as he holds the ball up well and is difficult to dispossess.

    Absolutely. No danger that young Lewis needs loaned out. He needs a run in the team but that is difficult just now because of the form of the best player in Scotland – Wee Jamesie Forrest. Lewis did absolutely fine on a very poor surface.
