Moments later Sakala was going nowhere, but still inside the box, when Carl Starfelt lunged – there is no better word – in the direction of ball and player. Too soon, the ball was elsewhere, Starfelt provided a platform for Sakala’s right foot, it was a penalty. Tavernier lifted the kick into the roof of the net.
Celtic were on the ropes. Confidence was shot and the passing which was so fluid in the first period was never on point. Reinforcements helped little until the 88th minute. Then it happened, Kyogo!
For a squad ravaged by illness, which clearly affected the manager in a manner all too familiar, this was an excellent return.
Celtic should have had a penalty. Sarfelt’s shot was turned away from goal by a two handed save from Goldson. I didn’t see it and there were no appeals from Celtic players, so referee John Beaton gets a pass. VAR should have picked the oversight up but either it didn’t, or Beaton declined the opportunity to check. SFA, we have a problem and it is not getting any better. The handball rule in Celtic games has been an unexplained shambles this season. Explain, please or make way for administrators who do not choose when to speak publicly only when they perceive Celtic were advantaged.

There is FACTUAL EVIDENCE CLEARLY Available such as Celtic being PUNISHED for every so called ” HAND BALL”….While The HUNS have NOT been PUNISHED in ANY Shape or Form…..Celtic should ask…” WHY is that” ?
GOLDSON had TIME to RAISE HIS HANDS….Why didnt he simply ” DUCK” …..He also had TIME to ” DUCK”….why didnt he ?
I HATE this VAR………and IF VAR Assistant COLLUM DID indeed tell Ref Beaton to go and look at the Monitor, and Beaton has IGNORED him….Celtic SHOULD also question that ?
IF Collum is left to shoulder ALL the blame about NOT telling Beaton to look at the Monitor….when in FACT HE DID, but Beaton chose to ignore that instruction, then Collum MAY Not be too happy about being made a Scape Goat. BOTH Collum and Beaton SHOULD be questioned independently, they may provide TWO DIFFERENT Versions ?

IF Celtic FC are to have ” Talks” with the SFA about VAR, Celtic MUST ask the RIGHT QUESTIONS ?
I realise that since my Post this morning, it would do Celtic NO GOOD WHATSOEVER to ask about The HUNS, and ” ” WHY” has every single VAR decision went THEIR Way ?

The Penalty awarded against Celtic on Monday was SHOCKING as the Pictures PROVE that Starfelt did NOT TOUCH Sakala…it was Sakala who was the CULPRIT.
What Sakala did, amounted to CHEATING….not so pure and simple, and his OBVIOUS FEIGNING an INJURY, and Fist Pumping while on the ground to gain a Penalty, tells its own story.
I would HOPE that Celtic DO ASK for ANY Evidence of any conversation between Ref Beaton and VAR Collum in order to determine ” WHY didnt Collum instruct Beaton to have a look at the Monitor for Goldsons HAND BALL, AND the LACK of any challenge by Starfelt on Sakala ?
IF in fact Collum DID instruct Ref Beaton to take a look at the Monitor on either occasion…or indeed BOTH….and Beaton IGNORED the VAR Advice, then thats yet another matter for Celtic and the SFA to investigate.
