I would rest everyone we don’t have good cover for. This is also a game for Nir Biton to start. The player needs to get back in the saddle as quickly as possible after Tuesday, he is also unlikely to see Champions League group stage action again this season.
After his international and other duties, Charlie Mulgrew would benefit from a rest. We don’t have sufficient cover for James Forrest and Beram Kayal, so send them away for the weekend.
Use every advantage possible.

Lustig definitely needs wrapped in cotton wool.
Big worry for me is we have no back up to our central defensive partnership. They are having to play in every game, Efe coming back from internationals as well, and the only players who could play there are the always injured Lustig or the equally overused Mulgrew.

There should be no player out of contract in the summer. Deals should have been done in the summer just past to extend and not doing so is bad management (IMO). Players who don’t want to sign extended contract should be sold in the summer and replacements brought in.
If we are running the transfer strategy that we seem to be then no one should be approaching the January window with 6 months left on their contract.

I think stokes will stay if celtic really want him too, be foolish to let him go and he would be foolish to leave.
I think ledley will go, really rate him but hes not in the wanayama league so if he wants a shot at the premier league he can go.
These deals shuda been pushed thru in summer or moves to ship them on shuda been done there and then.
