After his international and other duties, Charlie Mulgrew would benefit from a rest. We don’t have sufficient cover for James Forrest and Beram Kayal, so send them away for the weekend.
Use every advantage possible.

stringer bell- no matter how you dress it up the players have the club over a barrel. No point in blaming PL or DD.

I know mate. I was being ironic. Numbered in our support are those who blame PL and DD for their car not starting in the morning.
I am not in their number, I should add.
pfayr- yes it’s the only tactic we have. But this could mean 2-3 demotivated key players earning 75k a week getting paid for doing nothing, meanwhile we put substandard players or kids in key SPFL or CL games.
There is no solution to this, unfortunately.
As I said, we are dealing with individuals who are only interested in themselves.

Funny I remember guys saying we shouldn’t have sold Hooper, we should have got another bit out of him even if it meant he could run down his contract. All Clubs face the same dilemma, overall Celtic have not done badly. We have picked up our fair share of freebies, Ledley included and the amount of players who we really wanted to keep and who walked for free is quite small. Please don’t anyone include Henrik in that list, when Henrik signed his last contract with us it was on the understanding that it was his last and he would leave for free when his contract expired.

I see some posters are behaving like hysterical women over a MSM made up story. Quelle surprise.
Don’t get me wrong I love women, in fact they are my second favourite type of human being after Barmen :-), but this is an over the top reaction to something which has not happened yet, may not happen at all and if it does happen we will never know all the facts surrounding the event.
